Oishi Sushi & Hibachi

I got carry out so can’t really talk to the atmosphere.. but food-wise think this place is pretty middle of the road. We got a chicken hibachi lunch combo and a sushi/sashimi lunch combo. The hibachi was ok. A LOT of sauce but not a lot of flavor. The sushi is serviceable but nothing to write home about. This place is next to a brewery we like so may try something else on the menu next time to give it a fair shot.

We haven't eaten in at Oishi, but we get a good bit of carry out. I love their sushi and their sweet potato roll is my favorite ever.

This is a nice place with high quality sushi. Giving it four stars instead of five because it’s very good. It’s just not the top. Prices are good. Chef is meticulous in his creations. Hagerstown roll is great!

Hands down best sushi in the area. The fish is always fresh!!

Mediocre. Im genuinely surprised they have such a high rating. The server was nice but the sushi was not. I couldn't even finish it after one slice of the roll. I'm from LA though so I guess i have higher expectations?

Ordered the ramen noodle soup and spring rolls via DoorDash. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot and fresh! The ramen was beautiful with pan seared chicken, cabbage, carrots, half a boiled egg, onions, and seasonings. The broth was tasty and flavorful. They even threw in some tempura shrimp skewers on the side for free. Everything was amazing! We will definitely order again!

I absolutely love this place the food is always good, great customer service and the prices of the food is not bad at all I would say this is the best sushi restaurant in Hagerstown and I know that is my opinion but I would not go anywhere else

I believe they are the same owners as Red Lantern in Falling Waters. Regardless, they are friendly, efficient, consistent and fair. They offer lunch menus, party platters and take out. Have never had an issue here with quality or service. Go support local.

Lovely place, fresh sushi rolls and GREAT prices for lunch specias. Crab rangoon was hot and delicious. highly recommend.
