Oishi Sushi & Hibachi

I order from this restaurant on DoorDash multiple times a week. It’s kind of a problem. Not sure what they put in the chicken teriyaki and spicy crab roll but I’m hooked! Best sushi around I’ve found so far. Thanks for the new food addiction 😂

I get take out from here all of the time, but today I had some extra time and got a chance to sit in. The food is absolutely incredible, though this I knew, however the establishment itself is very comforting to sit in. The two individuals who I presume own this restaurant work quickly, efficiently, and are incredibly kind. I hope I get the chance to sit in again!

I got carry out so can’t really talk to the atmosphere.. but food-wise think this place is pretty middle of the road. We got a chicken hibachi lunch combo and a sushi/sashimi lunch combo. The hibachi was ok. A LOT of sauce but not a lot of flavor. The sushi is serviceable but nothing to write home about. This place is next to a brewery we like so may try something else on the menu next time to give it a fair shot.

We haven't eaten in at Oishi, but we get a good bit of carry out. I love their sushi and their sweet potato roll is my favorite ever.

This is a nice place with high quality sushi. Giving it four stars instead of five because it’s very good. It’s just not the top. Prices are good. Chef is meticulous in his creations. Hagerstown roll is great!

Hands down best sushi in the area. The fish is always fresh!!

Mediocre. Im genuinely surprised they have such a high rating. The server was nice but the sushi was not. I couldn't even finish it after one slice of the roll. I'm from LA though so I guess i have higher expectations?
