Went around 5:10pm and the place was completely empty. Ordered 2 whole cheesestakes. Watched him put precooked steak & veggies on the grille and just warm it up. He was done with both in about 5 minutes. It was my first time there so I wanted to taste it asap. Tried it right outside the restaurant in my car. The sandwich was literally warm at best. The provolone cheese wasn’t even melted because the sandwich wasn’t hot. :( It wasn’t well seasoned, tasted like nothing. good portion for the price but probably will not go there again.
I have been looking for a legit sandwich shop in Hagerstown and read about this spot. I ordered the Italian market and it was on point. If I knew it was going to be that good I would have ordered a whole one. Dude threw the sandwich together fast, I am headed back to try other sandwiches. My next one is the Philly whole of course.
Cheesesteak with like no meat, all uncooked green peppers and mushrooms, $10.99, 1st and last time
First I had ate there, the philly sub was so good, will definitely go back
I don't think I will be going back; for how much you pay for it, it's not very good. I forced myself to eat it because I didn't want to waste money. The cream a crab soup wasn't very authentic and quite runny.
Amazing food even though they put sweet pickles on my hoagie when they told me they were dill. I’ll let it go this time even though it is my first time ordering from there.
The hoagie bread was sweet and I was told by the order taker that the pickles were dill and they were nasty sweet pickles. No thanks!!! The order taker needs to learn to communicate w/the kitchen in order to deliver correct information to the customer. The salad looks good. I hope it doesn’t disappoint. I ordered the City Market salad and half of a Rittenhouse Sq. hoagie. Check it out for yourself and you can be the judge of how they are. I do a great deal of personal traveling all over the world and eat at a lot of local and upscale restaurants, so I know what I like.
My wife stopped and got us the sandwiches. They were full and very fresh. My first time, her second. Love this place.
We’re from Texas and wanted to try a authentic hoagie. This place has an excellent authentic Philly Cheese Steak! Get there Bada Bing…it was sooo stinkin good!!!!
FREDDIE'S will ultimately still remain the top dog in the cheesesteak game here in h-town after my highly anticipated and utterly disappointing adventure to this philly shop today...just plain and boring and slacking on portions..really wanted to be impressed b/c of the name and "wiz" but total letdown..u barely got sheetz beat..smh...please step it up and lower prices if u plan to stay in biz...

Amazing subs, we've had dinner from here twice in two weeks and will continue to make this our weekly stop for subs.
Reasonably priced,as well as friendly service. The Cole Slaw is some of the best that I've had. The sandwiches are fresh and tasty. I'm NEVER disappointed.
If you are from or around Hagerstown and craving a cheesesteak that’s Philadelphia style, you need to give this place a try! Food is all FRESH cooked in front of you. Subs are huge and a very very fairly priced. Owner is super nice as well! Will be returning soon to try their meatball subs that the owner hand makes on Wednesday’s from an old family recipe! (got to sample today!) Restaurant does dine in, take out and delivery, give it a try today!
Some of the best sandwiches in town. The Reuben is where it's at
Definitely the best place to get cheesesteak in all of hagerstown. They don't skimp out on meat, its super clean, and the staff is super welcoming. Glad they opened right by my house.
