The more I eat at friendly and authentic restaurants like this Salvadoran one with homemade-tasting recipes with complex flavors, I cannot imagine returning to the typical Mexican restaurant with chips and salsa on the table. I recommend the steak fajita, pupusa, and tacos. I cannot wait to return.

13MAY2025 This is the old Jimmy John’s spot. Glad that is gone and happy that this mom and pop Pupuseria restaurant is here. The customer service is off the charts. You have to stop in here. Heard so much about this place. Recommend to me to check it out. So glad they moved Jimmy John’s out of the way. I’ll be visiting here this week. I’ve had Pupusa’s🫓 in Costa Rica 🇨🇷
This place is so clean, spacious, and smells so delicious. You have to stop in. The Tres Leches is so moist delicious and delectable to your pallet. The customer service and food is off the charts. 🧡🧡

This little Pupuseria is located in an old Jimmy John's, and the latter's commercial design and layout remain. Bringing a professional aesthetic to this mom and pop pupuseria. While the formers' vibrant culture decorates the walls.
Delving into the meal itself, we ordered nachos con carne and a palethara of pupusas. The nachos were served with a couple of side sauces, much to my delight. The green mild and the red spicy. The jalapeños on the nachos came in slices rather than being properly diced to spread out the spice. In my opinion, they were still delicious despite this despite this slight culinary misstep.
The real star, however, was the actual pupusas . Which were all priced very affordable. $2.75- $6 a piece. The jalapeños were properly shredded in those.

Staff was very friendly. Cozy vibe and atmosphere. Went to try the birria tacos and they did not disappoint! Very filling as well. Wish I took pictures because it was so nicely presented with the radish slices, lime and consomme. The cilantro sauce is delicious, too. I’ll be back again!

This was our first time at this resturant and my husband even agreed it would be our last. I just think the pricing doesn't reflect their quality or quantity. I got nachos (beef and chicken) the beef was cut so tiny and there was only a sprinkle of it, 14.99$. My husband got a 1 Mango sliced in a cup, 8.99$. 1 small beef tongue taco was almost 5$. Their nachos but with fries instead of chips...the fries didn't look homemade. Everything was black bean, chip, tortilla heavy; which are all cheaper things to make and buy. I've never spent over 70$ at a resturant before (not buying alochol) and haven't been able to take anything home. The fries weren't even brown, the tamal was kinda hard. I was really upset to pay the amount I did and we weren't even satisfied.

I’m not sure why there’s so many negative reviews but I loveeeee Mexican and Salvadoran food. I’m a connoisseur at this point especially of Mexican. Anyway, I’m not from the area but I ordered take out and tried three different things and they were all so good and fresh! My birria taco was missing the consome but I would definitely come back if I lived in the area. The tres leches cake has a hefty price tag of $8 which is the most I’ve ever spent on this kind of cake but definitely was worth it since it was a big piece.
