At about 7:15 August 20th 2025 I called to place a order for a pizza for my family to try it for the first time the woman who answered the phone had a attitude and was extremely rude and in the middle of placing the order she just hung up in my face…I work at dominos currently so I know what it’s like to work at a pizza restaurant but that was ridiculous they need to get there employees in check.

Without a doubt, the most authentic NYC-style pizza in Hagerstown. Over the past few months I've been trying as many pizza joints between Falling Waters and the Mason-Dixon Line as I can try. This Rocky's location features the best crust and definitely the best sauce. The sauce is light, aromatic, herbal, and tastes great even when reheated. The pizza smells amazing. The textures and ratios are perfect. The sauce is definitely what sets Rocky's on South Potomac apart from all the others.

Ordered 1 lg cheese pizza for pickup am told 20 mins I give them 30 so I didn’t have to wait when I got there cuz I brought my Doberman and he has anxiety. It’s fear in the public so I didn’t want him out there that long well I get here they have my name in the computer. They have how much I’m supposed to pay. They take my money then they say there wasn’t a ticket printed so they didn’t make my pizza and tell me to wait another 15 to 20 minutes so I get my dog out the car and then it starts pouring down rain so I’m waiting over an hour for a large cheese pizza from the time I called The time I’m gonna eat it I mean, what were they doing? It wasn’t even busy on a Tuesday

I’ve been going every Friday for a few weeks now and have had a wonderful experience until yesterday. The delivery driver couldn’t take two seconds too say excuse me and instead put his butt in my daughters face then when I said exhume me for him I got “yup”. When saying thank you for getting a piece of food off the floor to the manager apparently he doesn’t like to be thanked because I was told “don’t thank me” trust me I won’t again or come back. I get everyone has their days but that’s not a way to keep customers. Love the ladies and other gentlemen behind the counter they always create a welcoming environment.
We really enjoyed our cheesesteaks. Service and atmosphere, outstanding. French fries were hot and crispy! Cheesesteak, delicious. Will be back to try pizza next week!
