I have been to sushi bomb quite a few times in the past. We had a group of 6 people. Decided to go there for lunch and found out that they do not offer their lunch special on the weekends. The female server we had a terrible attitude from the start. After we finished we all had separate bills and we were all charged an 18% gratuity. I am not understanding why we were all charged 18% for a tip when we all had separate bills. This is quite upsetting how the server received almost $25 as a tip just to bring us our drinks and food. Definitely no exceptional service to have ever received that much of a tip. Will probably never be back.

Sushi Bomb is such a great deal! For just $22.99 per person！You can enjoy all-you-can-eat sushi. The variety is amazing, the flavors are fresh,the service is outstanding. Highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves Japanese food!

It’s really crazy I order an order of Salmon Sushi, Salmon Sashimi, and chicken noodles. In the end I only got two items in my order. I call to see why. I even went there all to be said that my order of sushi was only two pieces of sushi and it was in the same box with the sashimi. They should have say it before. Otherwise I won’t have lose face. I would say the food was good, but the service was poor. Or I don’t know how to say it.

Only slight i'd offer is, on the day we went, the tv had some dateline 'catch a murderer' show on or something. Lol. Cmon! Give me sports or something.

Sushi Bomb bombed. I've never been to a place where they serve warm sushi. Gross.

I have been to Sushi Bomb 4 times. The first time I went for lunch and it was very good, from service to food. The second time, I went for dinner and was not impressed. The fish didn't seem as fresh, and the price increase for dinner wasn't worth it. They were out of a few items, too, and it was only 6 pm. The third time I went for lunch, and arrive at 2:20 pm, but I'm told they stopped serving lunch, but on the door, it said they closed at 3 pm. This last time, I went for lunch and was so disappointed in the warm sushi I had to spit it out. The server was very nice, but when I told her about how warm the rice is on the sushi, she didn't seem too concerned and kinda blew it off like no big deal. I ordered sushi at the beginning of the meal and a second time, and both times, the rice on the sushi was warm, almost hot. Warm rice and cold raw fish don't go well together.

Anyway, I'm not going back there. I live over an hour away from Hagerstown and only go into town to go to Sam's Club.

I know a lot of people are not going to have the same experience as me. But I'm just letting you know that the Sushi Bomb is not consistent. I don't think they have anyone who is really checking the quality of their product or someone who really understands sushi.

2nd time eating here and first, the server brought me a roll I didn't order but felt obligated to eat, or get charged. Then, one of the rolls I did order had an odd taste, got food poisoning symptoms before getting home. Not optimal to be forced to eat spoiled food.

This place is overhyped, and the quality of food was terrible. Calamari was like hard rubber, and our server Alex kept giving us stuff we didn't order and tried adding things to our bill!
