I ordered the chicken and beef asada as I usually do, and so disappointed that the meat is now prepared differently. I am not sure what method they use now, but it seems like the meat is boiled and then lightly put on the grill to warm up. I recently ate from their food truck at an outdoor event and it was even worse because it was not even on the grill at all, it was all boiled meat. Unfortunately, I will not continue to patronize this business since they changed their recipe and method of grilling or cooking their meat for the tacos. As you can see from the photos, the chicken and the beef color is bland no browning from the grill.

If I could give 0 stars I would, the food had no flavor and they gave me something I didn't even ask for, honestly, how bad, that boiled chicken taco made me feel even more sorry for it when I saw it, there are some really good places but here it left a lot to be desired, honestly.

Used to recommend this place to everyone and would eat from here two or 3 times a week, but no more. Food is no longer same quality have gotten food poisoning twice from them in the past six months they also no longer have white queso (Queso Blanco) even though it is listed on their menu only nacho cheese that clearly comes from a bag like at the gas station very artificial and fake jalapeno cheese flavor it’s very bad. I have also ordered numerous burritos and nachos and fries with only certain items on them and gotten something completely different through door dash they obviously don’t care what you ordered. I will no longer support this establishment or recommend it to any of my friends I’ll be going to Bib Papi’s from now on.

Unfortunately I had a really disappointing experience at Tacos Carlitos. I ordered the carne asada tacos, and they were some of the worst I’ve ever had in my life. The smell was off-putting right away—almost like the meat was old & the taste was even worse. I took one bite and had to spit it out. As you can see in the photo, I couldn’t eat more than that. I wouldn’t feel right not warning others. I definitely won’t be coming back or spending my money here again.

It’s a little hole in the wall restaurant my boyfriend and I went cause he wanted to try the birria tacos. Now for the price I was a little worried and the time it took I was starting to get concerned. Probably took 7 minutes roughly. There was only two people that I saw in the kitchen so that made sense. Once he got the tacos he tried them and seemed like they were heavenly. I’m not a Mexican food lover but I was curious so I tried them and they were the best tacos I’ve had. You can taste that the food is fresh and made well. Little messy but we didn’t mind. We came back the next week for tacos and burritos. Tacos don’t disappoint burritos aren’t bad either. Definitely recommend if you like authentic homemade Mexican food
Got tacos 🌮 they where pretty good. The chicken 🐔 was dry. But overall they were good and full

Armando did absolutely amazing at catering my wedding. I didn't even notice them set up or take down, they didn't need much directions and did exactly as what was needed. I had guests telling me during and after the wedding how much they enjoyed the food - and the fact they wiped the Taco Bar completely out is definitely proof of it. Their set up was so nice too! I especially appreciate that Armando personally made me and my husband a plate of food as we didn't get food before the guests and were completely swamped. I got to at least eat a little bit as the night went on! Thank you again so much, and if we ever need catering again, we'll definitely be back. And of course, we love coming to the Hagerstown location for the giant taco and their empanadas!! Really everything they make is delicious - which is why it was a no brainer to have them cater. 💖
