My husband and I stopped by to pick up dinner on our way home through Hagerstown. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and gave great recommendations. We bought meals to share with our son. Oxtail, goat curry, chicken stew, plantains, and cabbage were all fantastic! I'll be back to try the jerk chicken.
I just got the large curry goat with mac and cheese, rice and peas, and a side of coca bread. By FAR one of the best meals I have EVER had! Seasoned perfectly, moist but not mushy. I've read some negative reviews about the meat having bones, or too much fat. They honestly made me laugh. Bones let ya know it's real homemade food, and fat adds flavor. My goat had both, and a TON of meat. You could tell the sides were homemade, and the rice was cooked perfectly too....
After a long day of work I decided to go to taste of reggae after and they did not disappoint. I had a beautiful young lady greet me and talk to me about R&B (she really knows her music, she deserves to be the dj). She also let me sample lots of food until I decided on oxtails. My experience at taste of reggae was magnificent. I will be looking forward to my next visit 😁
