I have loved turtles for years and years. My family and I always stop here whenever we’re in town and order their cheesesteak salad. The other day we went and ordered the cheesesteak salad and boy did we make a huge mistake. The meat tasted like boiled hamburger meat and it wasn’t even their usual ACTUAL REAL CHEESESTEAK MEAT. We couldn’t even finish it and we all threw it out because it was disgusting. You could tell it was piece of boiled hamburger meat almost like spaghetti. I don’t know about y’all but lettuce and boiled hamburger meat is terrible. Unfortunately after years of coming here to visit, we will no longer after this. $70+ went to waste.

Stopped here for lunch on our way home from a camping trip. This place was just what we needed! We got subs, the club sandwich, and wings, all were delicious and fresh. The legendary lettuce is worth the hype! The staff were very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be stopping here again!

We have been coming to Turtles and seeing Leroy for over 30 years! I have since moved to North Carolina and every time I come back to Hagerstown, we have to stop by Turtles and get their awesome subs! Now that we have kids, they love coming to Turtles as well!!

I ordered a salad. Mind you they say the lettuce is seasoned. No flavor asked for dressing they don't have any besides ranch. Who sales salads with no options of dressing. The lettuce was slimy. First time eating there and will be the last.
