Shelle and Dan know how to make great beer and how to treat people. The brewery while small reminds me of Cheers. The owners and bartenders walk around and speak to everyone. Everyone is like family. The socialization is bigger than the actual great beer they serve.

Don’t miss the driveway! We turned into a private road instead of their driveway. Service was wonderful, they brew some old school beers. Although I am not a fan of those types of beers ? my boyfriend loves those. They had a band playing outside and the woods are decorated for the season! We accidentally came out the wrong side of the woods but how could we help ourselves with these beautiful flower gardens!

I don't think I have ever been at Upper Stem without an introduction to another beer lover by a staff. Welcoming setting and free of the distractions of many commercial brewery stops locally. There is a simple grace to discover there and folks like me think about our next visit before we even leave the brewery.
Very nice place. First time visiting last night Only thing that was a bummer is the power went out and they had to close .Beautiful grounds and garden area. The lady that owns the brewery is super nice ! We enjoyed talking to her Didn’t get to meet her husband yet But we will be returning soon !Lots of beer choices I liked the honey bee sting Hubby liked the stout .
