My wife and I had breakfast there today. She had an egg and bacon sandwich and I had the French toast and sausage Our Bill came to $17.47. It wasn't worth that. Matbe $5.00. I left Hungry and completely disappointed.

Every week the food is fresh, plentiful and delicious! The folks are wonderful! Nothing is too much trouble, they gladly answer questions and clearly love making incredible food. From sandwiches to soup and sides, 5 stars plus!

Verna's Sub Shop has an extensive menu! The Fried Oyster Sandwich is delicious and has a nice portion of oysters! The Baked Ham Sandwich on a Homemade Roll is jam-packed with soft, moist ham and you can choose your cheese and toppings. It's now one of my favorite sandwiches ever. It's a good thing Verna's isn't open every day. My kitchen would miss me. The people at Verna's are very accommodating and clearly take pride in what they do. I wholeheartedly recommend! 5 Stars!

Just recently moved here from NJ and visited the local Amish market where this shop is located for both breakfast and sandwich and soup specials and have found everything very good and service great and people "super friendly" only negative thing I can say is they are only ooen Thursday through Saturday ... so I go every day for some great food ... consider expanding your days ... would make me happy ?

Rarely do I give bad reviews, but my last two experiences here were terrible. I ordered an Italian sub both times, and both times my sub was made incorrectly. The first time, they put mayo on it when I did not want it on there. The second time, they managed to leave off the mayo, but they also left off the onions. (Which is a big deal to me because I love onions and find sandwiches to be kind of bland without them). They were even told that they messed up my order the last time, and they somehow managed to do it again. You would think they would have made sure to make it right this time, but nope. Not only that, but the tiny sprinkle of shredded lettuce they managed to put on was laughable, and the three slices of meat that were on my sub were sliced so thin that I may as well have just been eating bread. Not worth the price at all. The only reason I give this sub shop two stars instead of one is because my first time there was terrific. They made my sub correctly, the meat was sliced thick, and my sub was packed full. I'm not sure what happened between that visit and my last two visits, but after this, they'll be lucky if I return.

Had the Ham Wrap and MD Crab Soup. Both were extremely fresh and tasted awesome. Would recommend this Sub Shop to all.

My newest guilty pleasure are the Boston cream custard filled donuts and the best donut I ever ate the caramel covered Apple filled donut. Amazing!!!
