As always, great time with friends - enjoying the Rocktoberfest festivities and then kicking back in their taproom for an early dinner. Great food selections, and as always, great beer selections!
Entrées, appetizers, desserts, and beer are all terrific. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Don't miss the Open Gate chores. We are repeat visitors- worth the 1.25 Hour drive!
I love The Taproom at Guinness Open Gate Brewery, but on my most recent visit it fell short of my expectations. Despite having a reservation, the unannounced arrival of a local youth soccer team seemed to throw the entire establishment into disarray. The shrill screaming of young, unsupervised children was apparent throughout our meal. Appetizers were more than 30 minutes to the table after placing our order.
