I love The Taproom at Guinness Open Gate Brewery, but on my most recent visit it fell short of my expectations. Despite having a reservation, the unannounced arrival of a local youth soccer team seemed to throw the entire establishment into disarray. The shrill screaming of young, unsupervised children was apparent throughout our meal. Appetizers were more than 30 minutes to the table after placing our order. We were just in Dublin this past May and sampled many a pint, so wanted to check out the brewery here in the Baltimore area. We tried some new stuff and had a great afternoon just tasting some brews and getting a bite to eat. We will be back to do the tour!!!
Highly recommend the Tasting tour . The food is unbelievably good and the beer, well you wouldn't be there if you didn't like Guiness. Oysters, Bangers and Mash and Guinness Brownie sundae with whip cream with caramel drizzle. Awesome lineup.
