Flavorless. Soggy. Incomplete. I literally can’t believe after tip our meal of a beyond burger, truffle fries, and bottled lemonade (plus tip) we spent almost $40 and it was a huge disappointment. We ordered to go and were staying just down the road, so we figured it wouldn’t be an issue. By the time we got a few minutes away to eat everything, it was soggy. My burger had no avocado and no fries. Also, idk what yall consider Pico de gallo out here, but tomato paste isn’t it…. The truffle fries were “gross” and “have nothing on them” according to my husband. I also came in when it was hardly busy and was never offered a seat. There were open tables, but no where to sit and wait. Finally, as I was paying for my food, before it was ready, I asked for a lemonade. After looking at the menu, I thought they’d be fresh and something good to sip on while I waited, but I was sent to the cooler and asked to pick out a bottle. As I did, my sweater caught a screw sticking way too far out of a shelf full of things and almost ripped it, plus almost took down the whole shelf. The lemonade was hardly carbonated with a generic fountain lemonade taste.Ps. Parents- I’m so glad I didn’t bring my kids in. Right when you walk in, there are a ton of those “cheap” toys that cost too much. Im so glad my husband stayed in the car so I could avoid that melt down.

A kitschy, quaint, down-to-earth establishment just off the interstate, the Western Maryland Rail Trail and the C&O Canal. The exterior is bright and friendly, inviting you in. Eats, drinks, and antiques (oh, and soft serve!?). Something for everyone. The menu is as unique as the charm. I had a fried bologna sandwich that was elevated(think caramelized onions and pineapple and a zippy sauce) beyond the classic favorite's dreams! Everyone at our table enjoyed what they ate. As the music played, the bike riders, the locals, the wanderers - like we were, all rub elbows in the open air seating(plentiful) and inside there were several little nooks of seating as well. Social distancing and masks apply. Seemingly dog friendly. I'll be going back, without a doubt. ✌

Great food. All kinds of funky stuff to look at. But overall I was really disappointed in the downstairs where they have antiques. There wasn't anything at all to look at. Although it is still worth stopping by for a good bite to eat.Oh and we had to pay for parking which kinda sucked.

We stopped in for a quick beer and appetizer in the afternoon, it was our first time here. The bar only had 4 seats total so unfortunately we couldn't sit at the bar and had to get a table. Wings and Crab fries were good, we tried to order fried chicken livers and they were out. We both got 1 drink and 1 appetizer and our bill was almost $50

It hurts to rate this place 3 stars because I loved so much about it. The decor is great, the servers were SO nice and friendly, and my friend and I had fun looking at all the antiques after we ate. But... our food wasn't great :(. We had fried lion's mane mushroom as an appetizer, which I did think was pretty good and a fun menu item I've never seen anywhere else. However, my beyond burger wasn't very flavorful and the bun it came on was super dry. My friend got the pork belly BLT and also didn't enjoy it. The fries were good though! They do have nice outdoor seating that seems like it would be fun in the summertime.

We had the crab cake dinner, the crab fries, a Reuben sandwich, and classic cheeseburger. Food was really good wasn't busy for Saturday night. Waitress was very pleasant. I had the peanut butter cheesecake for dessert and it was absolutely out of this world. Their Sundays are good too.

First time going here. Liked the atmosphere and the music. Ordered lunch as dinner service doesn't start until 3 pm. We ordered deep-fried Lions Mane mushrooms for our appetizer. We hadn't ever had these kind of mushrooms before and liked them a lot. My husband ordered the Cherry Pulled Pork sandwich with french fries and coleslaw. I ordered the Pickle brined fried chicken sandwich with french fries. We were a bit disappointed with our sandwiches. My chicken really had no flavor on the coating or the chicken itself. The french fries are homemade and are good. They have desserts, but we were too full to order any. They offer ice cream too so I'm sure we would stop again if in the area.

I hesitate to leave a poor review but the wait for our food was horrible. We waited an hour and 5 minutes from the moment of seating to be served a kids PB&J and salad (no cooking necessary), a kids grilled cheese, and a burger, which was over cooked and missing grilled onions. The atmosphere was fantastic and the wait staff seemed enjoyable in better circumstances, but they have to do something to figure out the overall dining experience. They claimed to be “slammed” with 7 seated tables in the restaurant… several others were empty

My husband, daughter, and I absolutely loved it. Our waitress was so friendly, the food was great, but it was the unique atmosphere that really draws you in. The first floor is filled with antique unique items. My favorite being the tv (I've never seen one that old before). And my daughter and I loved the yellow brick road. Want to go back soon because I liked it that much and to try their ice creams

I visited Buddy Lou's recently, we loved the initial presentation of the establishment. After being seated, we ordered 2 beers. Our server, a red haired lady, was very friendly and welcoming, but when she was delivering our beers, an employee (possibly a manager) with a very unpleasant, dare I say "nasty", demeanor came by and interrupted our chit chat with our waitress to snap at her to "get that tray off the table"... mind you, we didn't even notice the tray resting on the edge of the table! But what we did notice, was what ! assume to be a manager, radiating negativity. There was nothing else wrong with our visit, it was very enjoyable but something about that interaction stuck with me. As someone who had worked in restaurants, I have first hand witnessed poor management destroy entire staffs of people. Hospitality can be hard enough without somebody nitpicking and making work harder! Beautiful place, great food, but that lady almost killed the ambience for us completely.

Nice people, but the food is not that special. We got the crab fries and the crab tasted older than my great aunt mertyl. We both got burgers and I could not finish mine it was so greasy. It has probably been a decade or more since I have not finished every single burger presented to me. I would avoid this place unless you are shopping or getting the ice cream.

Amazing!! The store is on the bottom level and the restaurant is on the top floor. The bottom floor had so many dope antiques from a cow hide chair, very cool signs, old lights, a tube tv, unique kitchenware, novelty candies, very unique and cool art, and lots of trinkets. The food was amazing!!!! I got the Reuben and and fries w Cole slaw. The Cole slaw is some of the best I have ever had WOW. They also have a very extensive drink menu including boozy milkshakes! Got all that with a sweet tea. They also had some jarred goods. I got a jar of spicy pickles, apple syrup and maple syrup! Everything was such a positive vibe and so unique. Very cool store to shop and dine at. Worth the stop if you’re passing by!?????Vegetarian options: Lots of mushrooms options and salads and appetizers that don’t include meat at all!Dietary restrictions: They had a lot of options with fried mushrooms, they had an appetizer and a sandwich. They also had fried goods that were vegetables not meat like fries, Mac n cheese, salads, apple Cole slaw, lots of the appetizers are vegan/vegetarian except for they were probably fried in the same oil as the meats. Lots of salads though that looked amazing. Extensive drink menu! If you’re looking for an alcoholic beverage they had a ton of options including boozy shakesParking: Over 20 spots in the lot, about 5 spots out front.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, kids menu as well as kid friendly seating and the concept allows for kids to be a little noisy without it being a nuisanceWheelchair accessibility: There is a sidewalk that connects to the street that goes directly into the double doors that are at the front! Parking lot and street parking both with access to the sidewalk that leads directly to the large front door
