Sandy JAKS Country Crossroads

My daughter and I were road tripping through this area when the subject of a good cheesesteak entered the conversation. Quick google search located this spot and we're glad we gave it a try. Great little mom-n-pop eatery. Both the standard cheesesteak and the chicken cordon bleu cheesesteak were great. Friendly staff. Diner clean. Keeping this establishment on the radar for future trips.

The absolute BEST Cheesesteak I have ever had! My friend and I randomly decided to come here on a side quest and now I must come back again at all cost. Upon walking through the oversized door you get over whelmed by the delicious smells of food and a friendly welcome from the kind staff. The food was absolutely phenomenal! I got the Mushroom and Swiss Cheesesteak (that was a delicious punch to the taste buds with every bite!), my friend got the SmokeHouse Cheesesteak and loved it, and my son got the Kids Personal Pan Pizza (Which I stole a bite of and it was some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The sauce was so flavorful. I had to hold myself back from stealing his pizza). Also, I was accidentally over charged and the man working there that rung me up refunded me without hesitation and came to me and let me know. It’s so hard to find people this honest and kind anymore. I was really surprised. 10/10 would recommend! Stop by here if possible, you wont regret it.

Stopped in for lunch. I got the La Diabla cheese steak and a bowl of the famous cream of crab soup. It was delicious. The owner was warm and welcoming. This will be a regular stop for me from now on.

We stopped in after a day of hunting and were glad we did ! We ended up going back the next day. The food was fantastic, the staff was great and very welcoming. Our group loved their food. We got Krissy's Famous Cream of Crab to go and WOW. It was the best we've had ! You will not be disappointed if you go there.

We will be back each time we are in the area.

Update: we have been back 3 more times and have tried different foods each time and everything was delicious! We are looking forward to trying more of their food items.

BEST BURGERS AROUND!!
I've been to Sandy JAKS a few times but had not tried their burgers until my most recent visit this past weekend. I knew it was going to be good, because -lets be honest- everything on the menu is good. ...but WOW! To say it exceeded my expectations is an understatement. I don't eat burgers very often, but trying that one has made me crave another. I might just go back for lunch today, lol!

We were traveling in the area and found this place online. All the other 5 star reviews are well deserved! One of the best cream of crab soups I've ever had, and delicious generously stuffed cheese steaks at a very good price! The owner's were very friendly and seemed to personally know every customer, the sign of a great secret local gem!

Stumbled upon this small town deli one half hour before closing and were treated with the best service, food was made to order within minutes, quesadilla, cold cut sub and French fries and we definitely were glad we stopped. The most friendly people made a big impression to us.

We happen to be passing through Hancock and decided to stop at this little country Cafe. What a wonderful surprise!! I got a big bowl of cream of crab soup and it was full of crab meat, hot and spiced perfectly. Someone else in the group got burgers ($7- served with chips ) and said they were delicious. My husband got the pulled pork special $15- it came with baked beans, homemade coleslaw and french fries. We got there close to closing time and the owners were happy to serve us. Would definitely eat here again! Delicious food at a at a fair price! 10/10

Really liked the steamers.
Love the texture. .tossed the crab soup.. sorry to salty for me..i guess when u get older taste buds get.picky. do not like old bay.will try the other soups ..if not to way salty,.nice place .have lots of other things to try there yet ..also the butter pecan iced coffee is good.
