Nice atmosphere, great service… but the food really missed the mark

I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is great — very local, cozy, and welcoming. Our waitress was extremely friendly, attentive, and checked up on us often. Honestly, the service was the best part of the visit.

Unfortunately, the food just wasn’t it.

I ordered the ribs and wings. The wings were big and had a good BBQ sauce, but they were so overcooked and dry that the sauce was the only thing making them edible. The ribs came out in a lollipop-style cut, which wasn’t what I expected. That part is on me since I didn’t ask, but they still just didn’t hit the spot. Not terrible, but definitely not what I was hoping for.

My girlfriend ordered the prime rib sandwich, and that was also way overcooked — basically well done. She joked she wouldn’t even feed it to a homeless man. We’re definitely not the type to send food back, so when asked how everything was, we just said it was fine.

Honestly, this seems like a great spot if you’re looking for a local vibe, a drink, and maybe something simple. But for a full meal, the food was pretty subpar. The only thing we both genuinely enjoyed were the fries — extra crispy and actually really good.

Great service, great atmosphere… just wish the food matched.

Food was yummy and service was fast despite how busy they were. Also made cute impressive drinks. The building itself is really cool too.

The seafood was great, and fresh. Waitstaff were friendly and attentive. The place is pristinely clean. They offer a lot of food and drink variety. It's a popular place for a reason, there's a line before they open the doors, so I'd recommend a reservation.

Met a friend for lunch today. We were seated immediately. Waitress was courteous, and professional. Food was pretty good. Will probably go back again at some point.

We love coming for tha crabs from Cumberland. No sense in driving any further east. Our waitress Stevie is the best,love giving her a hard time, only downfall she likes my wife better.

Found this place on a whim. Food was delicious and service was great. Drew did an awesome job with service and answering all of our questions. Will definitely be back again! It was very busy but food came out quick. Oyster Po Boy was outstanding, husband enjoyed his stuffed rockfish as well.

Stopped by for a late lunch and we were not disappointed. Our server Janelle was friendly and efficient. The food was good and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back if ever in the area again.

Had an amazing dinner with my coworkers. All our meals were delicious. No complaints. The Caeser dressing was top notch. Finished our meal with the peach cobbler from Queen City creamery for desert and it was incredible!

Got the ribs and shrimp. Ribs were dry and shrimp over cooked and flavorless. First and last time coming here to eat. I didn't even finish half of the plate. We left hungry and unfulfilled. Wife got the rockfish stuffed with crab meat and no amount of lemon slices being squeezed on it got rid of the fishy old fish type of taste and it was super dry as well. The lemon slices couldn't even help with that.

Reply - It was late and we were starving, we tried to push through the taste of the meal as best we could. I ate the 2 ribs and 2 pieces of shrimp is all I could stomach. We were just trying to be nice instead of complaining while dinning. We just paid full price, went about our night and added this place to our DO NOT EAT AGAIN list. If one meal came out bad, ok but both meals were bad, thus telling us all we need to know.

Loved everything we ordered! Great Crab Legs ! Amazing Maryland Blue Crabs! Hubby even said their burgers were Chef’s kiss! Highly recommend!
