The salad was very fresh, and very big, I took more than half of it home with me.
Cream of Crab soup was the soup of the day, and it was FANTASTIC. The BEST cream of crab soup I have ever had.

THURSDAY NIGHT THE POTOMAC RIVER GRILL WAS NOT BUSY AND THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. AFTER RECEIVING OUR ICED TEA ALMOST IMMEDIATELY FROM A YOUNG MAN WE LATER THOUGHT PERHAPS WE WERE INVISIBLE. NO ONE WAITED ON US AS THE SERVERS CHITCHATTED WITH EACH OTHER AND WERE TEXTING ON THEIR PHONES. FINALLY, A WAITRESS CAME AND TOOK OUR ORDER. THE FOOD WAS OK BUT TOOK WAY TOO LONG TO RECEIVE. I HAD TO GO TO THE BAR TO ASK FOR A REFILL OF MY ICED TEA BECAUSE THE WAIT STAFF WAS PAYING LITTLE OR NO ATTENTION TO THE CUSTOMERS. FINALLY WE HAD TO GO TO THE BAR AND ASK FOR OUR BILL BECAUSE THE WAIT STAFF WASN’T PAYING ATTENTION. WHERE WAS THE OWNER OR MANAGEMENT ON THURSDAY NIGHT?

Neat location just before the Potomac bridge crossing from Hancock towards Berkeley Springs. Steak display case in the front, clean decor, and friendly staff. Would recommend the Chesapeake burger that comes topped with an egg. The hand cut fries were a bit dry for my liking but preferred to something dripping like Five Guys. Overall very good experience.

The prices are pre-pandemic and for the prices, the food was good. We ate breakfast here two days in a row as the continental breakfast provided at our motel was a complete joke. The service had some issues. I ordered a tee and got water instead. I ordered grits and never got it, though it was on the check. We got it rectified finally. The first day, I ordered the breakfast Philly cheese steak, and the menu listed the toppings, but mushrooms were not listed. Good. I HATE mushrooms. What did I get mixed in with everything else? Mushrooms. I mentioned it to the waitress, and she just said "sorry" and rushed away. By the time I was done picking through the sandwich pulling out the mushrooms, the sandwich was cold, and my wife was done with her omelet, which she said was quite yummy. The next day, I ordered the waffles and hoped for some browned crispy waffles, I got limp tan waffles instead. I ordered the strawberry topping for the waffles, but you would think they would top it off with whipped cream like waffles with fruit toppings should have. No. Anyway, the prices were so good, it is easy to overllok any shortcomings in food or service. This is probably the best place for breakfast in town, though there is an IHOP on the other end of town, but the prices there are twice as much.

First time here. I loved the atmosphere of the place with the furniture with the chrome and the metal flake look upholstery. The staff were very friendly and truly appeared to enjoy working here. The food was amazing! I had The Big Cheesy and onion rings. Wow, my new favorite burger, as I am new to the area. The sweet tea was perfect as well. I’m looking forward to returning for a steak dinner in the very near future! I love the farm to table places and this one does not disappoint on any level! Well done staff and management! A repeat customer for life am I!

Food was and service great, but the bathrooms are discussing. Need overhauled and made with commercial everything. The residential fixtures can't be properly clean or hold up to that kind of use

If I had used the restroom first I would have left. Cleanliness needs to be addressed. Burger was very good but they served with charred vegetables and cold fries. Opportunity to have a great restaurant if they paid attention to some details that are lacking.

We had a mix of steak, burgers and sides. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I was a little disappointed with my T-bone. It was really a $36 bone in NY strip. The filet side was completely gone, not even 1 bite. Usually you will get 2-3 bites of a filet in a normal T-bone. All in all a good experience though.
I was disappointed in my meal and found it inedible, though they did make things right by comping it. I ordered the smoked pulled pork barbecue sandwich. What I received was chunks of pork between 1 and 3 inches in size that had absolutely no smoke flavor. The chunks of meat were tough and I could barely cut them let alone chew them. I've never seen pulled pork in this state. My mother's swiss and mushroom cheeseburger however was delicious. The place could have definitely been cleaner, as other contributors stated in their reviews.
