Ordered pot roast... no meat and only giant potatoes and carrots. The open face turkey was OK but no flavor. But my god... the color of the side of corn was off-putting... definitely an old can based on the grey color. The mozzarella sticks were ok, the marinara sauce cane in a sauce cup from a fast food place and tasted like those jars/cans of store pizza sauce.Our waitress was great so no dig at the service. Just had high hopes based on the ratings we saw.

20240229 (Dinner)It was highly recommended and I can’t say enough about this local restaurant. Located right along the Potomac River and just at the Maryland boarder with West Virginia in the town of Hancock. The location is within a 2 mile section of Maryland between PA and WV. I tell you all this because the food is wonderfully delicious, large portions and ridiculously adorable. It is a local establishment and easy to understand why. The local restaurants always seem to have the best food and this place is no exception. Besides the great food, ample portions and great pricing, you actually select your steak from a refrigerated display case. I found this not only unique but awesome. The steak was prepared perfectly and also seasoned perfectly. Our server Stacey was friendly, helpful and attentive. Thank you Stacey.You can’t go wrong with this restaurant if you are looking for great home cooked food at a reasonable price.PS: The cherry pie, which is homemade was delicious and a larger slice than you would typically find anywhere else.20240302 (Breakfast)Had to go back and try their breakfast. We were not disappointed. Delicious, massive portions and the price is very reasonable, unlike we have become accustomed to. I’ve been there twice. Got a Swiss-mushroom burger. Best burger I’ve ever had!!! Got it the second time thinking it couldn’t be THAT good every time. Wrong. Still the best burger ever. My husband got their beef pot roast. He said it was as good as homemade! Sides are as good as the main course. I will go out of my way to eat there anytime.

Overall I had a pretty good experience. The food is wholesome. My wife's sandwich was cold so there is that to consider but the portion were large and the flavor was very good. This steak was by far the best that I have ever actually paid for.Parking: Still worth inconvenience

We came across this place during an evening drive. We came from Bedford PA, so we are about 45 minutes away. My boyfriend and I agree this was one of the best steaks we’ve ever had in our 45-48 years of life. They were cooked perfectly to order, tender and juicy. They just melt in your mouth! The baked potatoes were perfection. If I had to find one thing that wasn’t top notch, it would have to be the salad dressing. With such high quality food being served, I was a little disappointed that the ranch was not made in-house. The service was wonderful. We didn’t wait long for anything, multiple staff seemed to just work together to make sure everyone was taken care of and they were all friendly. The atmosphere was what I would expect a small town diner to be (which i love) and the food was top tier. Oh, and for the quality, the prices were really great. Most places charge more for less. We will be back soon and will likely become semi-regulars. An hour and a half round-trip is more than worth it for this place!

I ordered a 9oz filet with s salad and mashed potatoes and gravy. This has got to be the best steak I have ever had. The place looks like it's just some mom and pop type restaurant, but my goodness the flavor is better then texas roadhouse steaks!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone. I will definetly return. Very very well done ans worth every penny spent!!!!
