Freakin' Sweet Jars

1- the food. the jars are incredible, i got the chocolate explosion, its hard to stop eating it.
2- luckily got to talk with the owner, so sweet and helped me decide, extremely refreshing and very genuine, we talked for a few minutes.
100% recommend to anyone wanting to try a different kind of treat, so so good

My family and I stopped by this evening and wow!!!!!

First off the manager was sweet as pie (literal reference here), she was kind, informing, and funny! We talked for a good 10 minutes.

Secondly, I got home and tried the brownie explosion. I literally had to force myself to put down the spoon. It was the most delicious brownie creation I have ever had.

I wish I would have stopped by this place sooner.

The ladies who work here are beyond nice. The cookies are moist and flavorful. I can't wait to return to purchase more.

This week, I’ve been making a point to support small businesses around Baltimore. While leaving Annapolis Mall, I came across a spot I hadn’t heard of before. I checked their listed closing time on my phone—9:00 PM. It was 8:45 PM at the time, and although I had shopping bags in hand, I decided to place them in my car and drive closer to the shop.

After doing all that, I approached the counter at 8:53 PM, only to find the store nearly dark. I noticed desserts still in the case and felt excited to try something new. Just then, a young woman wearing a mask approached the register and began counting money. I asked, “Hi, are you closed?” She briefly looked up, nodded yes, and continued counting without saying a word.

I checked my phone again—8:54 PM—and walked away feeling disappointed. As someone who has worked in retail and customer service, I believe store hours should be honored. If a business posts that it closes at 9:00 PM, it should remain open until then—not 8:50, 8:51, or 8:52.

In today’s challenging economy, where every dollar counts and prices continue to rise, I believe it’s important to spend money where customer appreciation is clearly demonstrated.

Holy guacamole. We were jonesing for something sweet on our mini roadtrip. Tried Praline Bakery at Wharf in DC, service so rude we walked out. Google brought us here en route to Philly. Holy crap, these women are leeeeeegit. I had the brownie-chocolatey jar, devoured it. Absolute perfection. Husband had brown butter sugar cookie, kids had snickerdoodle cookies. Everything was divine. I'm so excited to have a pitstop next time we are driving south. Wish these ladies lots of success! Thank you, we'll be back!

Popped by Freakin' Sweet Jars to satisfy a cookie craving this afternoon, and we were not disappointed! We met the lovely owner, who shared the cookies are homemade and baked fresh daily. The cookies tasted like it - flavorful and soft in the center. Come here to treat yourself AND to support a local small business!

While at the mall last week decided to try one of these jars, let's just say i went back yesterday for more! My son loved the caramel cheesecake and my favorite is the chocolate brownie explosion. Ladies are super friendly and these desserts are FANTASTIC! I'll be a frequent customer 😊

One of the most sweetest, literally, family owned and operated businesses I've come across in a very long time. Much appreciated in this area and always will support for as long as they exist and I can. 3 generations of love for their baked goods as well as their customers. A must visit place that truly exemplifies customer service and care. Go order homemade, made fresh daily sweets as you won't be disappointed. If you don't see it on the menu, ask somebody!!

Best place in Maryland to get cookies and the jars are top tier

This is my second time stopping by here. The cookies are so good! The lady at the counter is nice. I think it’s the owners mom, you can tell she’s proud. Next time I’ll have to try the jars.

This is my favorite sweets spot in MD, The owners were so friendly and genuine , it was amazing vibe when you walk inside the store I highly recommend and definitely will be back !

On my way back home to NJ I had to stop by this amazing dessert spot for my strawberry crunch cheesecake jar. Had it for the first time last year and I’ve been a fan since. You won’t be disappointed if you try it out!
