over 3 hour wait for a pizza multiple times
Order from the Papa Johns closer to Odenton, trust me. This site doesn’t guarantee timely delivery and their manager was just down right rude and inconsiderate.
Pizza was great
I only order when there’s 50% off deals (caps or wizards won/scored high) and only do pick up, so I can’t speak to experience with delivery. I order 30-40 minutes beforehand before I go pick up so I am in and out. In the short interactions I have with anyone there, they are attentive and polite. 10/10 when they’re not super busy.
I tend to order my pizzas well done because the supreme needs that extra cook time or the dough is slightly raw sometimes if it isn’t.
7 minutes away, over an hour and a half and delivery still hasn't arrived. called to cancel the order and they hung up on me. called back to cancel the order and the person who picked up the phone wouldn't speak into the phone.
I cannot believe this place hasn't had it's franchise revoked yet.
Just know if you order delivery it will take about an hour and half - two hours. I live 7 minutes from them and it’s not always feasible to put my babies in the car and go pick up. Not sure why it takes so long every time.
Crappy pizza took forever to deliver. Ledo's runs circles around these clowns, avoid this PJ's.
January 2025, Hanover, MD location. Worst Pizza 🍕 Ever!!! It turned into 🐕 food for my pup. I can't believe they sent me this pizza. I had to call three times to get my money ($31) back after they placed me on hold two times without returning to the call. They said that in 3-4 business days, the money would return to my credit card. If not, I'll be there! Look at these Pics (WOW).
I have to start by saying this is the worst pizza I have received from this location. I paid a $5.00 delivery fee and tipped the driver in cash. I got a burnt pizza and ordered extra cheese, but as you can see from the picture, I didn't get any extra cheese. I would have taken this pizza back to the restaurant if it wasn't so close to game time. P.S. I didn't see the pizza before my husband grabbed a couple of slices. It's ridiculous that they would serve this to customers.
This has consistently been one of the the worst Papa Johns that I have ever had. The last time I ordered from here was approximately 2.5 months ago in October, and the order took about 2 hours to get to my door.
When the order finally did arive, the pizza was cold, it was severly underwhelming, and it was wrong.
It took about 45 mins before I even got a notification that the pizza was on its way, and another 1.25 hours before it arrived. When I called to ask the manager what was taking so long, she said it was a busy night and I just needed to be patient.
I understand busy nights, but this was a weekday evening and this wasn't the first time I had a significant delay in my order.
Avoid this Papa Johns at all costs!

Never tried to order from a restaurant that doesn’t want business and doesn’t answer the phone. Called 12/22/2024 at 10:30.
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at your store. My order was both late and incorrect. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, a gentleman finally answered the phone and insisted my order was correct, despite the issues I had clearly outlined. He then proceeded to argue with me when I explained the mistake.
I offered to bring the pizza in person to show him the error. Upon arriving at the store, I discovered that the person I had been speaking with was the General Manager. Unfortunately, he continued to argue with me, claiming the order was correct, even though the label clearly stated it was a half-and-half pizza (half veggies, half pepperoni and sausage), as I had ordered.
At this point, I requested a refund, but instead of resolving the issue professionally, the General Manager continued to argue with me. This behavior is completely unacceptable for someone in a leadership position. I left the store without any resolution, feeling disrespected and frustrated.
I expect better customer service and accountability from your staff, especially from management. I hope this issue can be addressed appropriately.

The manager here is very rude & the pizza is always nasty. He will make your food wrong & then get mad if you're not satisfied & argue that he's right & you're wrong

Terrible Management and Service
This review isn’t about late pizzas—it’s about the unacceptable behavior of the manager at this Papa John’s location.
We ordered online at 3:00 PM for a 5:45 PM delivery. The order left the store at 6:15 PM and didn’t arrive until 6:50 PM. The pizzas were cold, and no one informed us of any delays. I called the store at 6:40 PM to speak with a manager and was put on hold for 11 minutes.
When I called back at 8:00 PM to address the issue, they placed me on hold again. At one point, an employee picked up, acted like they were answering a new call, and then put me back on hold as soon as I identified myself. When I finally spoke to the manager, I was told, “I’ll get to you when I get to you,” before being placed on hold again.
This dismissive and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. It’s not about the late pizzas—it’s about the lack of respect and communication. To make matters worse, this isn’t the first issue we’ve had. Last time, the garlic sauce exploded during delivery, leaving the pizza soggy and the box ruined.
Even another Papa John’s location admitted this is poor management and advised us not to return. We’ll take their advice.

Our dinner is always great from this location! Almost every time we walk in to order dinner the Manager Angel is usually always working, she is really fast getting our order made and our food is always perfect! Thank you for the amazing service Angel.
