We had a reservation this past Saturday for our group to eat here as part of celebrating my sister getting married. The attitude of the staff was completely uncalled for. We ate at the Tidewater Grille today. Pictures are in comments! My husband and I got club sandwiches for lunch. The bread was so burnt you could not eat it. We were starving so we picked a little at the meat. Told the waitress and she just said “sorry”. Wasn’t her fault, it was the cooks. We paid and just left. We visited a waterfront restaurant with a friend from out of town. My friend and I split the bill, and she included a significant tip in her total to cover the entire bill.
When the waitress returned, she asked us why we weren’t giving her a tip. We explained that the entire tip was on my friend’s check, but she responded with an eye roll and didn’t return to our table.
