Overall disappointing. The things I wanted to try they didn't have, so I just got a cup of French onion soup it tasted like dirty dishwater, Panera has better French onion soup in my opinion. My wife ordered the shrimp basket, I tried one, the shrimp were rubbery cocktail sauce was ok. My mother in law got the a butternut squash soup that she said was ok. My 1.5 year old got chicken tenders and fries they fries were alright and the chicken was alright. I don't know if it's normal to be out of so much for them but they didn't seem busy at dinner time, there were probably 8-10 people there, one girl serving at the bar and the table, poorly. She didn't have a good personality she was frustratingly slow and careless. Overall we won't be back.

My wife and I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon. We were quickly greeted and seated.
The food was absolutely amazing and our server Megan was very polite.
We had the loaded blue cheese chips, I had the Big Mike, my wife had the French onion soup and my son had the chicken tenders.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. It's nice being able to eat somewhere that's not a chain restaurant.

We decided to go back to the Local a little over a week ago after giving it some time to get established. We went about 3 times when they first opened. First time was amazing next two not so much. So we decided to go back i was hearing good things so we figured they worked out all the kinks. When we arrived we were literally the 3rd table to be sat. Server took our drink order and we ordered the crab cake egg rolls. After that a few more tables started to sit and I noticed that the same server was helping all the tables. Now I waited on tables for over 20 years not a big deal if you can handle it. Anyway the eggrolls came they were ok. Thai chili sauce was bit to spicy for a Thai chili sauce. We asked for another water and extra sauce for the eggrolls. My wife wanted a bowl of French onion soup as her meal. I was still deciding since they didn't have any specials. After that it all went done hill!!! The server ended up with more tables which just made take longer and longer to get back to the table at this point still no water or sauce. Finally she came back to take our order at this point I just ordered the soup as well because I could see it was going to be awhile before she came back still no water or sauce so we asked for it again. So after ordering 2 French onion soup we are waiting and waiting and I see people that came in after us getting their food before us. So about 25 minutes after ordering i get my soup and the server doesn't have my wifes. She proceeds to tell us she didn't have a hand to bring it out, but it was ready. At this point, we asked for a to go container for the leftover egg rolls. I start eating my soup, which was very sour for a french onion soup. Ten minutes, fifteen minutes later, my wife still has no soup. Finally, my wife's soup comes out. The server proceeds to tell us. They gave her a bowl because she had to wait, which she shouldn't had to wait if it was already ready. So all In all a horrible experience. If you're gonna have one server, have a server who can handle more than five tables. We ended up leaving the eggrolls because she never brought out the to go container, either. Very disappointed, I was hoping this would be a place that we could frequent often. Don't know if I would give it another chance

First and last time. Unfortunately, the food quality was unacceptable. My wife and I had a late lunch. I ordered the Sky High club (essentially a BLT with a crab cake and a shrimp salad). This item was very fishy and not in a good way. My wife has the spicy honey chicken. The chicken was very tough, and fries tasted like they were fried in old oil since they kinda tasted fishy too. We really wanted to like this spot—such a shame. Decor is nice. Wait staff was fine.
