Great place. Chill vibe. This is the place where you want to meet people for league games like darts or cornhole. Excellent rotation of IPAs and local beers. Josh and Sabrina are wicked friendly and make anyone feel welcome. They have done an excellent job with renovations to the inside.
Carole and I went to Chesapeake City for their annual Haunted Victorian Macabre walk. Who knew the C&D Canal has been around since the early 1800's and that Chesapeake City, formerly known as Bohemia, was a cool little town? After the walk we are headed over to the Hole in the Wall. The Hole in the Wall is in the basement of the Bayard House. The kitchen was closing in 15 minutes so we ordered the first thing that popped out at us and it was a cheesesteak. We sat outside overlooking the canal on one of the first warm days of spring. Service was prompt and friendly, and the crab cake and onion rings were very good. Biggest crab cake I got on the entire trip, nice large lumps, not much filler, very tasty. The onion rings had a nice thin crispy coating and were clearly house made.
