“I hate that they close during winter. I found this place online on a fluke and me, my husband and friends go all summer long. I've read prior opinions and every restaurant has a hiccup or bad day from time to time with help or ability to replenish product. It's beautiful there on the water, watching birds dive for fish or sailboats in and out of the cove. The breeze blows as you eat and toast your friends with a great cocktail. I give a ten-plus for this treasure to visit. If you haven't been there, you're doing yourself an injustice. Fitzies, Leonardtown, high five!“

“The sun room was excellent but the view was blocked by all of the umbrellas. The temperature was perfect, others stated that the sun room was too hot.
The food was plentiful and tasty. The appetizer plates arrived to the table stacked but we're dirty.

I always get the whiteing basket and shrimp. However the crab soup is to die for! Everything is always made fresh to order. Nothing is ever sitting around. “I don’t know why this didn’t post before but I’ll say it again. We (myself and two ladies) went and enjoyed drinks and they had a delicious lunch whereas I had hard crabs. When we first arrived crabs were not available and I was disappointed. I believe the server must have communicated that to the chef and when the crabs arrived he immediately cooked them for me. They were amazing as was all the food and drinks. I love this location for food, drinks and the amazing views.“

“Everyone's food was really great, delicious fish and shellfish dishes. The crab cake sandwich had very generous portions, and I wish it had been a little more flavorful. The atmosphere was very charming and homey, pretty family friendly. There was a porch with great views of the water and a comfortable breeze.“

“If we'd done take out, I'd probably would have given it 5 stars. We weren't in our area so needed to eat in. The dishes were fine but the flatware was plastic. Our food was reasonably priced and plentiful. It was also hot and crispy items were crispy. The wonton soup had 3 of the biggest wontons I'd ever had. The egg roll was delicious and crispy. We had honey chicken and orange chicken, both excellent. The fried rice was great too“

“We had dinner there this evening, and everything was great. The server was so sweet and helpful. She helped one of our kids with us to figure out what sushi he actually wanted. She was on top of it with drinks, food, boxes and cleanup. The chef was fantastic! He was funny, talented in his skill and the food was delicious. We were told at the end that he was the owner, which made the whole interaction even better. He took the time to do his job and talk to us, all while getting ready to feed a party of 80 people. I highly recommend this place!“

“As an expert on cheesesteaks I have to say that there is no place in St Mary’s county that nails every aspect of a true cheesesteak like Jerry’s. The meat is seasoned well, the bread is perfectly soft and it is frankly enormous for the price.“
