Kinda wish I could do 4.5 on Google, but to sum it up this place has potential to be exceptional. Honestly the food is always delicious and cooked better than expected. Main issue is things missing on the menu or being shorthand on ingredients semi-regularly. But if you're able to be a little flexible on that, this is -the- place for a quick bite that tastes like your mom's home cooking got fancy.

Love A Place To Walk To. The food is made fresh and is always tasty. I've been here a few times. My go to is the fish breakfast with grits. The sauce is to die for. My last order was the shrimp and grits and it was simply delicious. They give hefty portions. The owner is a friendly young man. Will be back.

The Salmon and Shrimp with grits and chipotle sauce is my typical go to. However, today I wanted some eggs instead of the grits. I called to placeMy order and the gentleman who answered the phone (I think it was Brice) offered that I try the skillet and add the Salmon And Shrimp.Let me tell you! This combination did not only hit the spot... I swear to you it also fed my soul!! The food is seasoned so well... I didn't have to add any extra to my eggs!! I can't wait to order again this week so my fiancée can try it...the ONLY reason we're not ordering tomorrow is because they're closed on Tuesdays!PS. This combination is not on the menu, so you'll have to call for it. Be sure to add the chipotle sauce on the side. You'll thank me later!!

OMG. Somebody's momma is back there throwing down. Everything I've tried is delicious.seasoned and cooked perfectly. You can taste the love in your food. I'm about to tell all my friends about this place.

What they lacked in customer service they made up for in amazing Mac and cheese. The girl taking orders was impatient, rude, and lacked people skills. I'll be back for the Mac not her attitude.

Food is great when hot and fresh. I gave 4 starts brace they ad advertise chicken and waffles with potatoes but does not come with potatoes and I think they charged 50 Cent more online. I'm mad that it said it can with potatoes && does not!

When this place first opened up (right before Covid hit) the chicken sandwiches was really good.... I order 1 today and it was not hood at all The chicken was over cooked dry and hard thrown together... When this place first opened up it took pride in it's food and you could tell a year and a half later I'm not getting that...

Food here is pretty good, not bad at all. Ordered from here 2-3 times in the past and the standout winner is definitely the j*** wings and mac and cheese. *chef's kiss* Had some of their breakfast/brunch items, not bad, just okay, and I would probably steer clear of their grits. There's nothing special about their grits. But I definitely suggest other items on their menu, especially the lunch/dinner eats. Will definitely try new menu items in the future.

I'm not saying this place is bad, but this wasn't it for me. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries and was utterly disappointed with the quality and taste of my food. Not only was the chicken unseasoned, it was also hard to bite through and felt like I had to keep tugging just to get a bite. Nonetheless, I just couldn't finish it. YET- The fries were decent though!

I really wanted to support this place, but my first experience was not favorable. I placed the order on Mother's Day, and really had high hopes since the reviews are generally pretty good. EPIC FAIL. The salmon shrimp and grits was poorly executed. The salmon was simply dusted with blackened seasoning, and had no flavor. The shrimp was overly salty. Both the shrimp and salmon was served on top of a pile of cold unseasoned grits, and bland sauce. The pancakes were very dense with little flavor. The home fries and the turkey sausage were dry, and tasted like they were leftover from the day before. I was shocked, given all the good reviews for this place. Just a bad day, or different chef.....? I'm going to contact the restaurant and depending on the response, we'll see if they get any more of my patronage/money.

I've been here 3 separate times between this year and late last year trying to place an order, but I've had to walk to each time. I don't know why I'm even still trying at this point, but I doubt I will anymore. The cooks here have never worn mask, even at the height of the Pandemic. They still don't wear mask now and I have never seen them with one one. The only person who wears a mask at this restaurant, is the one attendee at the door to take orders. The other employees don't seem to have a care in the World, which is disheartening for me knowing they're preparing food for a community unaware of the additional risk their putting themselves in. I guess I will wait until the coast is clear with COVID, because that way the indifference here will no longer matter.
