There were two workers, neither were wearing gloves and neither were wearing hair nets. The girl was making someone an icecream cake with no gloves and I saw her touch a spot with her bare hands. The guy had no gloves on and when he bent to scoop icecream his hair touched our banana split. Very unhygienic.

Store reopened after many months of being closed and seems much better managed. Staff were responsive and eager to please. Ice cream was fresh and delicious. Store seemed clean if a bit run down.

Terrible store! Management needs better employees, we try to go buy some ice cream 20 min before they closed @ 9:40 and they didn’t want to open their door even though their sign stated they were still open and on google it shows they close @ 10 pm not 9 or 9:30!

My wife and I arrived at this location on 10/24/2021 9:45pm. This was 15 minute before the stores closing time at 10pm on that day. The two hispanic females working inside refused to open the door and said they were closed. It now makes sense why this location barley gets any business. The lack of care and professionalism is ridiculous.

DONOT I MEAN DONOT visit the hyattsville location, you will regret it. If you are getting a pint or quart size ice cream, just go back there & fill it up yourself. They donot pack the ice cream like other locations & they're the only location that I know of that measures the ice cream on a scale to make sure they didnt put to much in your cup.

The store used to be very clean because one staff person used to work there. I went several times with my son and they were polite but lately they are lacking in consistency of being clean. The glass doors are dirty the glass screen is dirty, even when making smoothies they don’t put gloves. Great location, good ice cream but not the great staff. Make the store look more clean and bet you will have more customers not just the neighbors.
