My friend ordered a meal online and we waited about 15-20 minutes to walk a block and get it (I live next door at the other end of the same block). We get there and the lights are out from a power outage. A guy comes from the back and we greet him before he greets us and tell him that we placed an order online. He states the power is out and he doesn't know how long it will take. I asked him how long the power was out and he said it just happened within the last 3-5 minutes. So I try to ask him if the order was made but he walked outside to be see what's going on outside. There was a lady there and she was basically agreeing with him and not really paying us attention. So, we patiently wait and about 7 minutes later the light comes on. That's when the lady decides to deal with us and greets us like we haven't been sitting there or see didn't see us talking to the guy. My friend tells her he's here to pick up his order and she asks his name. He provides and name and low-and-behold, the order was sitting behind the register the entire time. Me saying I was irritated is an understatement. I wanted to address it but my friend decided to just leave. The fact of being dismissed and then having to eat lukewarm warm, room temperature food left a very sour taste in my mouth. To say that was my second and last time visiting there and I will not be recommending location to anyone. But I've had two bad experiences at two separate Bonchons has me writing off the entire franchise.

The food was terrible. It looks great but does not taste great and is not quality food. It took a while to get our food and my friend was bitten by mosquitoes inside the restaurant. I was so excited to eat here from the ads I saw and I went with a friend yesterday and we both got the yum drum trio and I also got the mopo corn dog. The chicken was either old or cooked in old oil, it was difficult to eat, the fries were hard and tasted reheated and even the mopo corn dog had a freezer burn taste in the potatoes on it. It was incredibly disappointing and I couldnāt even finish my meal. On top of that a couple of hours after eating I got sick. Iām not sure if this is a bad batch but I would warn others about going to this location. I would have been better off getting supermarket fried chicken.

I dined here last weekend, but not until today, I realized that I had taken the merchantās copy of receipt with me. So I checked my credit card account, and the merchant did not charge me any $$ more than the price of food. I was impressed by this honest manner. Will go back and tip as soon as Iām back to this area.
I was looking forward to trying this place for a while. The day I went in was a Thursday so your results may vary. I walk in to the door and it was eerily quiet no music or anything. I go to the host stand and the workers look like they'd rather die than serve anybody. (This takes place an hour after they opened). With a significant queue of take out orders waiting.
Then when I placed my order the host who served me seemed unknowledgeable about the business, I asked whether or not she knew of any other locations and she said that it's a different owner for every store so she doesn't know. When I didn't know about certain products she gave me a dirty look and just pointed at the menu without further explanation.
I ordered a Thai milk tea with boba and a corn cheese dog. It took a substantial amount of time for my order to come out, without anyone to explain how long it would take. The thai milk tea had a weak flavor hardly any boba and was warm with very little ice.

We order boba here regularly. The flavors are not too sweet, and pretty unique compared to many other boba places around. I am not sure what the entrees are like yet (we will dine in soon!) but we recommend getting a sweet boba treat from here! The colors are fun, too. My favorite is their honeydew flavor. Their taro is exceptional! I will edit the review once we try the meals.

The atmosphere can vary depending on the time of day (noise coming from outside gets louder at night). Generally it is peaceful, quiet, and pleasant even at night, with some exceptions.
I went here with a former friend back in late June 2024. The chicken was sooo good and I actually got full off the wings and pickled radish, which is rare for me. The vibe was fancy and I loved that the workers were Korean.

LET DOWN! I ordered an order of buldak and it was not at all what i expected, the chicken was defenetly not cook all the way, VERY CHEWY and had different color spotting. I couldn't even finish 1/4 of the meal even the chesse felt off. This is the second time I eat from this specific location and have had issues with my food. I LOVE both the locations in Gaithersbug and Germantown this location however is not something i would recommend to someone.

Never again I donāt know if theyāre growing the chicken and butchering the chicken before they pluck the chicken and put it in the fryer, but this is the longest fried chicken has ever taken. Pickup time was 7:28 I didnāt get food until 7:45 mind you I ordered at 7:10

It was not a pleasant experience, the ambiance was not welcoming.
The cashier and the person dealing with my orders was not friendly and had an attitude. It took 17 mins to prepare my order to go.
The restaurant was tidy, could be cleaner.
Talking about the food: ā I orders 8 drumsticks of the spisest souce they had. ā The Mixed 6 Wings and 4 drumsticks of the milder souce.
All of them tasted the same, not spicy at all and to sweet for my taste. It could be much better.
The price is considered too expensive to the product they are providing
