Yangyeom sauce was different from what I used to have in Korea. (Secret sauce at bb.q chicken is what I like to have, when I think about ‘Yangnyeom’ sauce)The chicken also had some smell.. Idk..It is great that a good amount of pickled radish comes with the chicken set, though.
We currently live in CA but my husband graduated from University of MD, and the DMV is home for us. I need a spot to host a surprise celebration and to gather our close family and friends. Bonchon was the perfect spot as I could order large portions and accommodate a large group of 60 people. Wendy was amazing. She answered all my questions and ensured that I was ordering the right amount of food. I ordered trays of rice, fries, japchae and soy garlic wings. It was the right amount for my group. Wendy and her staff ensured that my party was taken care of. She even offered to have pictures displayed on their tv screens while our party was going on. All in all, we had a great celebration with great food and company and thank you to bonchon, wendy and the staff for making sure the celebration went smoothly! Also, they validated parking for up to two hours with the garage across the street.

The food is NOT the same here at this location. I ordered the boneless wings and they are regular frozen chicken from the freezer and not fresh with the typical crunchy batter. Our wings came with the typical batter, but the taste of the spicy sauce is different. My tteokbaki has noodles in it, and it was dry, no sauce, cheese melted to it. They asked for my ID when I picked it up and you still can’t sit inside their restaurant; it’s still closed off from the pandemic. I will take my business to another location. I’m tired of people buying up other businesses, changing the original recipes without changing the photos of what it looks like, and charging the same price.

Very nice spot I would hit up after work. Bonachón has some of the best spice chicken wings out there. Some place I’d hit to get my spicy food fix. The drink selection was ok and not really a highlight for me. Maybe it has changed though!

We placed a pick up order for $130 worth of chicken and our order wasn't correct. The waitress that answered the phone just sat there and argued when we were VERY specific about what we ordered.They do not itemize their receipts so there is no way to confirm what you've ordered unless you sit there and open all the boxes.
