I’ve ordered delivery/to go three times and they’ve always forgotten something.

I visited with my dear friends for lunch today and Kate took care of us. She recommended some delicious mocktails and was very enthusiastic about sharing with us her personal favorites as well as restaurants favorites. We settled on the Shrimp and Crab Fritters and Catfish for appetizers, which were good and we ordered two Shrimp and Grits entrees along with the Blackened Salmon! Best Shrimp & Grits of my life! All were amazing and we were not only very happy with the food, but Kate's attention-to-detail and professionalism was phenomenal. We will definitely be back!

Made it a point to visit again when we were into town since the food and service was outstanding the first. Servers know the menu well and have great suggestions. This time that we went in burgers were 1/2 off on Mondays so that’s what we ordered.Turkey burger and veggie this time. Our first visit we got shrimp with grits and kale quinoa salad. Both times got jalapeño cheddar grits are great❤️

I ordered a burger for lunch via Doordash. I received falafel salad. This isn't the first time I've had issues with this location, but usually I'm only missing items never have I received a completely different order. Now I have to order a burger for my child from somewhere else. Mobile ordering is supposed to make life a little easier not harder. Will not order from here again!

This was my first time at this particular location. I had the chicken omelette and the sweet potato pancakes, and then as we were there for awhile, the Cuban. I'm going back for this sweet potato pancakes....I'm still thinking about them ?. The atmosphere and service were also good.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but a few of my friends are, and that's the reason we chose the restaurant. They have plenty of vegetarian options.

Typical Busboys and Poets, but the service left a bit to be desired. We had to request eating utensils. You just don't do that.....

I love the concept. I just wish they could get the food and service together. I ate there on 1/2 off burger night. It seemed our waitress was serving the whole restaurant. The bun was so hard when I tapped it with my knife it sounded like I was knocking on a piece of wood. It had clearly been sitting under the lights for a looooonnngggg time. The side salad was good. I will only come here in the future for the bookstore.

I flew into Reagan National and a friend wanted to meet for breakfast at busboys and poets. I knew the neighborhood but I hadn't been back there in quite a while and the restaurant was new to me. It's beautiful! It's such a wonderful addition to that neighborhood. It's just up the street from Franklin's and ever since Franklin's became a brew pub that whole neighborhood has just had a Renaissance. Boss, boys and poets is an attractive looking place combination bookstore and restaurant. It had a great selection of food for breakfast and not the usual things. It had a nice selection of different sorts of things. I was very pleased with my meal and very pleased with the place. Of course, even when the restaurants almost empty, there's a "see and be seen" quality to it. It was really a pleasure when Prince George's County Council president Jolene Ivey stopped by my table to say hi. That's really the kind of people that you see in Busboys And Poets the best and the brightest. Jolene is an outstanding political leader and a dear friend. Of course she's also the wife of congressman Glenn Ivey so it was a real treat.
