Another local Dominican gem! Friendly service and amazing food. A great lunch option. The lady at the counter explained what goes with what and helped us put our orders together. Generous potions! Everything has a real home cooked feel. Mashed plantain (mofongo) with onion, beef stew, some type of sliced sausage (I forget the name), brown rice with beans, eggplant in a tomato gravy, creamy white beans as a side, etc. All delicious!! Washed everything down with a lovely traditional Morir Soñando ("Die Dreaming"), a cold mixed drink of milk and orange juicy. A wonderful experience all together. Go check it out!!

Flavorful food, great customer service. Quiet, cozy feel inside. They give you a lot of food on one plate. They didn't have fried plantains, which would have when perfect with the savory rice and steak.

It’s rare finding a Dominican or Puerto Rican restaurant. But boy it hit the spot. The arroz con gandules was on point. The spaghetti was perfect. This is going to be my new regular spot.

If I could rate this place with “0” star I gladly would without hesitation. Let’s start with the terrible service a particular young woman provides “the one always hanging with the white boy”. Now let’s move to the inconsistent price they charge, one day they charge $16 another day $18.50 for a small portion, there are times that they charge you for the salad and other day they don’t. The portions are way to small for the price and quality. I honestly feel this restaurant have no clue of what “customer Service” stand for.Ps: I really suggest they play a sign with they prices because at this point you never know what you will pay next.

The food was good. The ladies were very nice and pleasant. My only issue was how expensive it was. For the amount and kind of food I felt it was way too much.

I placed a order for 3 golpe… When I got there 20 min later I paid for my meal and the to go box looked small so I decided to open it and it was only 2 eggs two slices of salami and one lil cheese WITH NO MANGU…. the girl says “the lady only said eggs and salami” they have there food buffet style so I look down at the mangu and see it’s no more left. The owner tried to play me and give me just eggs and salami even the girl was lost as to why they only put eggs in my “meal” who orders just eggs? I have eggs in my house I could fry if I wanted to eat eggs by itself but I’ve never been that poor. They gave me half a meal then proceeded to tell me I can wait another 20 min for them to make mangu but they should have told me that when I placed my order. Next time I’ll go to manna they are better!
