This would be my second time at Huncho House and it has not disappointed! I shared the wagyu cheesesteak eggrolls and charbroiled oysters with my wife followed by the seared sea scallops as my entree while my wife had the jerk short ribs. Overall 10/10 and the customer service was amazing.
The service was amazing, from the first lady to the young girl that served us I'll be back again, I don't remember the name of all the dishes but they were delicious and the presentation was excellent, I just love everything in this place, I can't put in words how I feel just a warm feeling, well worded, meeting the chef was awesome ❤️

Made reservations for Huncho House but was told before I arrived that the location has closed and was instructed to go across the street to the sister restaurant 1123 by Chef Tobias. Overall the experience was ok.
I had a delightful dining experience at Huncho House. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere contributed significantly to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I appreciated the chef taking the time to visit each table and ensure that guests were satisfied with their meals. The hostesses were also very pleasant and welcoming, which added to the positive experience. Overall, I highly recommend Huncho House for anyone looking for a great dining experience.
This is my second time coming to 1123/Huncho House and the food and service was amazing per usual. I did have a reservation but had to wait about 30 min to be seated which was inconvenient in heels but the staff offered complementary champagne for the wait so that was reassuring. Please keep in mind that 1123 and Huncho House have combined locations so they are even more busy the then were before. I had the Asian steak which was amazing. The Mac and cheese was and crispy sprouts were delicious. My man had the NY strip which he enjoyed. I will definitely be back. This restaurant has easily became one of my favorites.
I had reservations at Huncho House, but due to renovations they accommodated me at their sister location, 1123 and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was stunning with low lights and a sleek black color palette that set the perfect mood. I tried the charbroiled oysters, jerk short rib, brussel sprouts, and scallop risotto — everything was exceptional. Enjoyed the happy hour special from the bar top and left already planning my next visit.
I was a regular diner at Huncho house . Just as past week made reservations as always. Received a phone call to confirm my reservation and was informed that the restaurant was combined with Tobias his other restaurant 1123. But not to worry that the menu was the Huncho menu. Upon arriving for the reservation, we were promptly seated, very courteous staff, as always. And once given our menus realize that they took basically a half dozen items from the original menu and added it to the 1123 menu. After speaking with one of the staff from Huncho house, about items that used to be on the menu. We were informed that they would do their best to accommodate our usual order of fillet. Normally, I would be glad to receive such service. But after several minutes we decided to leave and upon exiting the parking garage, seen a staff member coming out of the Safeway . The same staff member that short us he could get us fillet. Very sad that one of our most favorite restaurants not only in Maryland, but the tri-state area is closed. And has merged with its sister establishment. Don’t get me wrong the new establishment 1123 is a very nice restaurant. More of an elevated sports bar in my opinion with two TVs hanging over the bar showing Food Network at the time of our visit. Definitely does not have the same vibe or elegance that Huncho had. Sorry to see Huncho closed.
Booked Hincho house, however my reservation was moved to 1123. Overall had a great experience at 1123.
Holy moly, this place is the real deal. From beginning to end it was an amazing experience. Wife grabbed the deviled eggs to start and I ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls. For the main course I ordered the jerk short ribs and my wife got the 10oz filet that was cooked to perfection. The mixed drinks didn’t disappoint and I can’t wait to get back to Huncho House.

Huncho House is closed, the sign on the door says it's “closed for renovations”. But when I received my confirmation call I was informed it was merged with Tobias”s other restaurant (1123). But not to worry the menu was still the same. After arriving for our reservation at 1123 and promptly being seated. We received the menu and unfortunately it was not the same menu from Huncho. They basically took a half a dozen or so items from that menu and added it to the 1123 menu. And labeled the “Huncho experience”. One of the staff from Huncho recognized us because we had basically monthly reservations at the other restaurant and came over to our table to chat. We informed him that we were dismayed that they got rid of the fillet. At hunch, the fillet was absolutely amazing! He told us give him a few minutes. Let him see what he can do Was greatly appreciated. After a few minutes, he came back and said they can accommodate the fillets. After watching him get in his vehicle and leave we decided that the menu was just too different so we left. Upon leaving the parking garage noticed the same staff member coming out of the Safeway. a little unsettling that Tobias would send one of his staff to Safeway to get fillet. And now, unfortunately, our favorite restaurant not only in Maryland, but the tri-state area is no more. Please note if you make a reservation for Huncho House you will be dining at 1123 with a modified menu that has bits and pieces of the original hunch menu. And in my opinion, 1123 is basically an elevated sports bar. It has TVs hanging above the bar on the back wall and at the time we were there, Food Network was on. Definitely not the same vibe or ambience that Huncho had, which will be missed.
I decided to go to Huncho House for my birthday and to my delight it was movie night. As soon as I walked in I was able to get a complimentary champagne. We asked for a booth and was able to get a booth with only two of us. They were extremely accommodating and attentive. My waiter the young lady was extremely friendly and her service was consistent and attentive. Our food came out fast..was hot and extremely flavorful. 10/10 would recommend on any night as this was my second experience and it was just as good as the first one last year.
First timer. I was told Huncho House is closed so they combined it to 1123 and are naming it The Huncho Experience. Anyway when I walked in the atmosphere was beautiful. The ambiance was very elegant. I was greeted nicely and was given a complementary drink of champagne. I really loved that . The food was top tier . I had the deviled eggs, steak and cheese egg rolls, the salmon with crab fried rice and the oxtails were soo delicious. Oh the crab Mac and cheese was soo good I’m a lemon drop and espresso girl so that’s what I got . The seating is very tight and close together but they have booths as well . No complaints !! Will definitely go back !!

This was my first time at Huncho House and it won't be my last. I took my wife for her birthday and my mother in law. This 5 star restaurant is amazing, awesome and outstanding. The atmosphere, food, drinks and wait time to be served were above excellence. The waitress Precious was awesome. She made the experience even better with her friendliness, smile and professionalism. The receptionist and other servers were also awesome. Hands down, this is the best dining experience I've had in a long time. I'm telling everyone about my experience at Huncho House...
Was my anniversary and we got a last minute call that we’d have to go to their sister property across the street. That was the first red flag. Our server was nice. The food was underwhelming. The short rib wasn’t seasoned well and the rice was under cooked and a lil crunchy. My partners food was just expensive lo mein. You couldn’t taste the crab. The deviled eggs weren’t really seasoned well. We added hot sauce which made it better. Bill was $191 which was a waste fr. Food was 4/10. I thought it would be way better based on the reviews.
