The food here is AMAZING. I'm actually glad this place is far from me and on the expensive side because if it was closer and cheaper I'd be eating here constantly. My table got the waygu egg rolls, Mac and cheese, broccolini, Hawaiian steak, jerk crab cakes, and the jerk lollipop chicken. All of it was on point. Drinks are pretty expensive for what you get. That was probably the only disappointment. Music is a little loud for my liking but it is a minor nit in an absolutely amazing experience.

Poor service. Over the top rude manager. Reservation system needs revamping.

We know the owner is a talented chef based on our viewings of him on Food Network shows. So I have to wonder if his staff are letting him down? * Food: Best part were the deviled eggs (good) and firecracker roll sushi (great!). The salmon and crab-fried rice was good, but not great, which for the price it should have been. The jerk beef short rib was actually bad - very fatty, no flavor of any kind, let alone jerk seasoning. Same for the accompanying risotto - blah. * Cocktails: decent, but not worth the $24 price tag. No wine list - the few wines that one can order aren't written down anywhere. The much-commented on champagne offered at the entrance was literally one small swallow of liquid, about like a shot of champagne --- hardly worth offering. * Service: apathetic, inattentive. They did not earn the 20% service charge added automatically to the bill. They also tell you as you're first being seated that you have to leave within 90 minutes. Not that 90 minutes is insufficient time, but it's rude to tell people that they need to 'drink up and get out.' * Atmosphere: It's odd they worry about enforcing a 90-minute stay, since the place does not have the sort of feeling in which one would want to luxuriate. A too-loud Hip hop soundtrack complemented by excessive plastic flowers hanging from the ceiling, and an odd smell I can't describe - not pleasant. The two of us spent $340 (including service charge) - definitely not worth that. Not recommended...

5 Stars isn't enough. The restaurant is beautiful inside. Our server Tamika was wonderful. Everything came out hot and fast.Every. Single. Dish. Was. Perfect. The oysters were so good that after eating one my husband and I both immediately requested a second plate of them. The scallops with jalapeno risotto were SO good. The brocolini was perfectly charred. We ordered both the bananas Foster cheesecake and the bread pudding, and they did not disappoint. 10/10 will return.

I waited for months to get a table at Huncho House, and finally we were able to get a reservation for Saturday, March 16th for 5:30pm. After driving for over an hour to get to the restaurant, we got there, and the door was locked. One of the workers was trying to get in at the same time that I was, and so I expressed to him that I have a 5:30pm reservation, so why is the door still locked? To which he replied, I just work here Mame. When the door was finally unlocked, they greeted us very friendly, and even gave us a glass of Champaign. Restuarant ambience was very nice. Waitress was nice. Host was very engaging. Had no problem with the employees, however the food was another story. Very disappointed in the food. The cheesesteak eggrolls had no beef in them and had a sweet taste to them. I don't know what that is on them, but loose that for sure. The scallops were so small in the scallop risotto meal, and it came out cold; not to mention the risotto was so watery. The shrimp appetizer was so overcooked. The best thing that we had were the jerk chicken lollipops. They were delicious. I don't know if it is who was cooking the meals, or not; but it was very disappointing. The success of any restaurant is being able to cook the food over and over again consistently, no matter who the chef that day is. You should never be able to tell that different people are cooking the meal. I must say it definitely was not worth the drive or $500+ bill that we received. I will not be returning..

While on our way to the restaurant, we received a text notifying us that our table would be ready once we arrived, which was about 25 minutes early. Parking was just around the corner, taking about 2 minutes to walk to the door. We were promptly greeted by the hostess who offered us a champagne tasting, which was delicious. Seating was done shortly after that and our server came to our table with water. We ordered a couple of amuses (Asian Crispy Shrimp and Wagyu Cheesesteak Eggrolls) and our mains (Jerk Short Ribs and Jerk Crab Cakes) and sides (Garlic Mashed Potatoea and Crispy Brussel Sprouts), which did not disappoint. The food was amazing!FYI Parking cost $ but only if you stay longer that two hours but you will be well on your way after dining here and won't have to payParking: Free if you park for under two hours. Seating at Huncho House is only for 90 minutes so you should have no problem getting free parking.

My husband and I have been watching Tournament of Champions and were so excited to get a weeknight reservation. The food is amazing - oysters, egg rolls, branzino, rigatoni, mushrooms, Brussels sprouts. Believe the hype! Cocktails were great, albeit slow, but it's a tiny bar and the place was packed. We're excited to go back and will maybe be brave enough to say a proper hi to the chef this time!

First let's start with our reservation time was at 5:30 and the doors did not open until 5:30... We were waiting outside..for ten minutes, not a big deal but it's a biggie. My model is IF you're on time, you're already late. The ambiance was serene and the staff was professional and friendly. We ordered cocktails, The lavender lemon drop was amazing! We all got appetizers the jerk chicken was delicious. The cheese steak egg rolls was too sweet, more cheese sauce than meat, the deviled eggs was a bit dry and the asian shrimp was overcooked. The main course was okay, I got the salmon and fried rice, the fried rice came out cold but the salmon was cooked to perfection. Although, they was ready to accommodate me and take my plate but I hate sending food back. However, they did bring me a side order of hot fried rice but by the time I received that my salmon was cold. The mac and cheese it was cheesy but it had a lot of oil. The seared scallops or should I say the petite seared scallops was extra tiny not the standard size and a risotto was cold. The other two entrees came out good. Needless to say we didn't order dessert because we wasn't satisfied with the appetizers or the main course. I never complain about price when it comes to good food but when your bill is over $500 he definitely want your food to hit. Would I go back... ABSOLUTELY NOT, but it's always a good time with my girls!

OMG everything was done in excellence from arriving and being accomodated in a wheel chair, greeted with smiles and glass of champagne. The appetizers were served timely and food was exceptionally SCRUMPTIOUS. The only issue I had was our server "Paris" was a bit forgetful in terms detailed items such as: straws (we had to ask 2X's) and we asked for salt/pepper but never received. Lastly, her nails were extremely long and it made me uncomfortable touching things on the table with no gloves. The Front desk GREETERS were OUTSTANDING, and the OWNER was so nice, friendly and even took pictures with US. CONGRATS to HUNCHOS keep up the great work/business.Parking: Parking lot was 2 hours free. Which was good because Hunchos allowed 90 minutes maximum to dine in.Wheelchair accessibility: I definitely was accommodated immediately with a wheelchair.
