Spice 6 has become one of my favorite spots in DC. The veggie options are top-tier — I built a rice bowl with sautéed vegetables and Kadai Masala, and it was fresh, filling, and packed with balanced, aromatic flavor. The ingredients taste clean and high quality, and the variety of chutneys (especially the mango and mint) really lets you customize every bite.

What I love most is how easy the experience is: you walk in, build your meal like at Chipotle, and it’s ready fast — no long wait, no fuss. The staff is professional and helpful, and the space is modern, clean, and casual.

This place proves that fast food can still be flavorful, healthy, and satisfying. Highly recommend for vegetarians, vegans, or anyone looking for bold, comforting Indian food done right.

Really love all the paneer dishes, and the Lassis. People are nice--I wish they had a better description of what each one was but they're all good anyway & can be made to spice tolerance levels 🥰

My favorite Indian food spot. I love their vegetables. Those flavors are absolutely amazing. You must try it. Very consistent offering. They never disappoint.

No rating , wasn’t posted without rating .
Extremely disappointed. I never received my food, yet it was marked as picked up. I tried calling the restaurant multiple times and got no response. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If you can’t fulfill an order properly or communicate with your customers, you shouldn’t be accepting orders and no need to put one plus one offer . How can you deliver the food without showing code or name to some one .

Visited this place with my brother to try butter chicken for the first time. It was really good the first 3 bites. And then, something was missing.. or too much? Expected a better quality chicken. Maybe it needed more char. Maybe I need a more authentic place to try again. The naan was yummy. The biriyani? Dry af? Maybe because it was the end of the night.

This restaurant offers a unique take on Indian cuisine, serving dishes in customizable bowls and wraps. You choose your curry and protein, presented in a layered style reminiscent of US/Mexican bowl concepts. While the idea is interesting, the execution leaves something to be desired.

My experience with the papdi chaat was particularly disappointing. The channa and chaat were surprisingly cold, suggesting a lack of freshness. It felt as though the components might be pre-made or sourced from elsewhere, giving the impression of a franchise rather than a restaurant preparing food fresh on-site.

Overall, the non-vegetarian dishes were average, while the vegetarian chaat was subpar. The general impression was that of average North Indian food. On the positive side, the restaurant was quiet and not crowded during my visit. However, I'm hesitant to recommend it based on the quality of the food.

They charge a gratuity fee as a delivery fee for walking in making a bowl. Forcing us to tip is now becoming a norm. Dont support buisnesses like this. Insanley high price. Check out spicelife, they charge 11 dollars and give you 4 different proteins! This place is a rip off

We had good, tasty food.
Very authentic north Indian food.
Was quite, not much crowded when we went.
The empty dishes are a proof of good taste.

Veg Korma not great. Naan was over baked/stale. I've had way better for cheaper.

Never had a pizza better than their Naan pizza. Gotta get the mango tango chutney. Get a side of Naan with tikka masala for dipping!

Surprisingly authentic flavors in a fast casual format. Since its bowl style, service is quick. Lot of options as well and decent price. My parents enjoy it everytime we come.

I had not been here in nine years, having moved out of state and recently moved back. I remember it fondly from its early days. Although the flavors were good, I think the food has gone downhill. I had lettuce as my base and it was full of oil from cooking process, pretty much swimming in grease. I did not finish it. I'm hoping I just went on an off day, so will try again.
