Dani was the BEST bartender!! Will come back :):)
Came in during happy hour and had a fantastic time!! The bartender Dani was on top of things, never had to wait for drink refills. She was also very nice to talk to. We enjoyed the pot pie and the fish and chips and will definitely be back!

Tried this restaurant after having a mishap with a scheduled celebration whereby reservation accepted and restaurant doors were closed. On second chance, things seemed better. Food okay, but rib portion very small for the price. Manager gave us a complimentary dessert for the first mishap. It was a good cheesecake but would not have paid $10 for it. We left feeling okay about this new restaurant only to find days later a bank statement where the restaurant ran amount that was higher than our signed bill/slip. Earlier in the day a friend called in an order for lunch for three. They gave her a burger vs pulled pork. Seriously! I don't think we'll be returning. For Sunday football, it'd be loud if you wanted to watch a different game and no audio for what you'd come for. The food just so-so. Disappointed in this place overall, and we gave it two tries.

The Urbana Lodge is a fantastic new restaurant… the decor is unique, like a ski lodge in Vail! The menu is extensive and delicious. Our group of 12 was managed with efficiency and professionalism by Wilson and Jason… kind attention was made to any requests. No one was disappointed in their meal or service, just rave reviews! We will be back!

TLDR: Food was good, but the service and overall experience need work. I’d give it a few months before coming back.
We had dinner on a Saturday after hearing the restaurant was new and still ironing things out. There were three of us. When ordering drinks, our server mentioned half-price wine and offered a sample. We liked it and ordered the bottle, but she returned with the half-price wine menu showing that exact bottle listed at $15 and said it was out of stock. She added that we could order it by the glass for $8. We declined and ordered the Bonanza Cabernet instead—until she came back again to say that was also unavailable and suggested a Malbec instead, saying it was “very similar to a Cabernet,” which isn’t quite accurate.
It took 48 minutes from when we sat down until our drinks (wine and tea) arrived. Chips came out shortly afterward, and food followed soon after that.
I’m gluten free and let the server know. When the plates were delivered, mine was carried on top of someone else’s, and several breaded fries ended up on my gluten-free bun. I won’t get sick from cross-contact, but someone with celiac disease would.
The good:
• Complimentary chips were great.
• Burgers were good and cooked medium well as ordered.
Needs improvement:
• Nearly 50 minutes to receive drinks.
• Several menu items, including two wines, were out of stock.
• Staff seemed unsure about wine substitutions and basic menu knowledge.
• Service felt distracted—our bottle was paused mid-opening to train another staff member.
• The server had to return multiple times to confirm parts of our order.
• Gluten-free handling wasn’t careful.
It felt like a team that is still learning—possibly understaffed, undertrained, or both. The food was solid, and I think this place has potential, but better training, allergen awareness, and smoother service would make a big difference. I’d give it some time before returning.

Such a great experience! The vibe is super cute inside, a bit loud due to the open concept but nothing crazy. Food was delish and reasonably priced. Smoked old-fashion was super fun and yummy too! The chips/dip served at the beginning of the meal were a great touch too. Our server, Madison, was super great and accommodating to our tables allergy-which is sometimes hard to find!!
We will definitely be back :)
