I'm new to Swan Point from Virginia Beach and have been to the clubhouse twice to eat. The first was this past New Years Eve. I was very surprised to see how outdated the clubhouse is. The food was good that night. We then joined in for July 6th festivities and stopped in for a light bite. Your fried items tasted like plastic. We won't be back.
Very good food and service, as my party enjoyed each appetizer and entree ordered. The rockfish bites were spicy and tasty, as were the meatloaf, cheeseburger, fish tacos, and French dip sandwich. A large bowl of crab soup and basket of French fries were also delicious Wait service was most attentive, and my group had a very enjoyable evening. I appreciate that our waitress Laura recommended a very good bottle of wine, and Barbara assisted at our table as necessary.
Taco Night was enjoyable at Swan Point, as the chicken & fish tacos were tasty, as were the side orders of beans & rice. I was surprised the restaurant did not have chips during a Mexican themed dining event, but dinner was enjoyable. The house Chardonnay was very good at a surprisingly low price of $4.50 per glass. My wife and I had a nice dinner, and hope Swan Point has Taco Nights on a regular monthly basis.
Brunch included numerous delicious breakfast and lunch items including omelets, waffles, eggs & bacon, prime rib, rack of lamb, and ham. The shrimp, salad, and fruit bars were also very good, as was the desert table. Wait service was very attentive replenishing drinks as well as clearing used plates. I was however a bit surprised that there was a 20% gratuity added on the check, as this seems high for a brunch with limited wait service. My wife & I had a delightful meal, and always enjoy dining at SwanPoint.
On the limited menu, most of the items were not available. Most of our lamb chops were very undercooked (raw), and we sent them back to be cooked more. Our carrots were very undercooked (had to use a steak knife), so we sent them back with the lamb chops to be cooked more. The only time we've been so disappointed with this restaurant.
As always, Barb, Beth and Laurie made us feel welcome! My friends and I have had dinner here on many occasions while our wives have their December book club meeting at my home on Lord Baltimore Drive. The service, food and drinks were excellent. Swan Point Pub ROCKS!! This Pub is a GEM for our community and my beloved Cobb Neck peninsula!
We attended the Thanksgiving brunch. We enjoyed the food and the service, as usual. The downside was, what I feel was, the exorbitant cost. After the not included drinks (coffee and tea), taxes AND a "surcharge", I paid over $60, on average, for a turkey dinner! That's top end STEAK pricing. I did notice that the dining area was not as busy as in the past. Could it be a cost issue?
Beautiful place (inside & out) great food, phenomenal service and bar staff!! Had an amazing time there!!

Paul had the shrimp cocktail special. He said that the shrimp tasted like they weren't cooked enough prior to being chilled. We both shared the chicken tenders and chips and we thoroughly loved them.
Beautiful club. Awesome service. We were able to make a reservation for 20 online and were given a very nice private room. We had a great time and would go back.

Great experience! We had a party of about 15 and were able to make a reservation online. Loved the room they gave us and the service was excellent. Overall, the club and restaurant were beautiful spaces. Definitely would go back.
I made reservations for 17 to celebrate my birthday. I was able to reserve our table on-line and was a very simple process. The waiter staff was very accomodating. The only disappointment was the lack of drink and food options because there had been a large party the night before and the kitchen had run out of a number of food choices and drink options. Overall the food we did order was very good and the staff very helpful.
The club sponsored Oyster ? Night was once again a hit. I tried steamed oysters for the first time and they were delish. My husband had his standard Point Burger with fries. Everything was wonderful
Amazing Wedding Venue and the service was top notch. Our company was Wedding Photographers for a Client at this venue. Truly one of the Best in Southern Maryland.
Had a wonderful experience at Swan Point. They graciously hosted my son’s wedding and I could not be happier with the level of service.
