“Make sure to come hungry. The fresh guacamole ? is delicious. We had the burrito California and the burrito texanos, both of which were huge. If we didn’t have to drive we would have tried the colorful flaming drinks which looks festive and somewhat dangerous ?. Definitely worth a stop!”

“A perfect little shop right off the water! Food was DELICIOUS and the server was an absolute sweetheart! A small intimate little place perfect for a quick bite or a full meal! Also don't be shocked by the pretzel! When they said jumbo they meant jumbo! IT WAS VERY BIG AND SO ”

“Incredible food, fantastic service, a must-have in the northern neck. Food is mouth watering every time. Their level of consistency, paired with the quality of food, beats many of the major businesses around here. I’ve traveled 20 minutes to have hanchos for dinner. Worth it every time.”

“SO tasty! You wouldn't expect Colonial Beach to be the site for phenomenal Thai food, but this is some of the best I've had. The restaurant itself isn't anything super fancy (but it's nicely decorated), but the service and food is top notch. The panang tofu is incredible! I don't know what they do to their tofu but it's perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!”

“I am visiting from out of town, and Julie's. Coffeehouse is wonderful. Beautiful, comfy, outdoor seating, and charming indoor seating, in a historic inn along the beach. I had the green apple kiwi fresh tea with honey and it was wonderful. They have beautiful Japanese pots they serve their Tea in. The customer service is fantastic and I will be back! Also, the locals are very friendly, as well as other visitors from out of town. Even though I was at the coffee shop on my own, I got to meet with and talk with a variety of different people.”

“Was our first time eating here. We’re a big family of six and we stopped in on a Saturday evening, we had a new waitress named Skyler (If I remember correctly) and she was so sweet and friendly, did an awesome job! The burgers and fries were delicious, and the apple cake with ice cream was so good! My son had a really yummy patty melt too! The atmosphere was a little plain but clean still. Very home-y like a mom and pop shop. Overall really glad we decided to stop in here on a day trip to colonial beach. Will definitely be back!”

“This is a great place to eat, especially if you are from out of town and want a breakfast that will make you feel good and stick to your bones. I had biscuits and gravy, and my husband the Dennis. Both plates came out with so much food, we couldn't finish it all! The sweet tea was southern approved, and the wait staff were friendly and the service was quick. This is place I HIGHLY reccomend.”

“Great food! 6 drinks and 2 meals was $50. Food is great and comparable to top restaurants serving similar dishes. Wings, cheesesteak, shrimp, and club are all recommended. This place should be busier.”
“Weddings at Ingleside Vineyards is a beautiful venue for an intimate gathering and the staff is amazing to work with! As a vendor we have enjoyed working alongside the staff to create and bring to life our couples’ floral visions for many years! Rachel and her staff are just a joy to work with!”
“We were surprised to come upon live music, excellent beer, great food, and a friendly atmosphere here during an impromptu visit to Colonial Beach. Definitely a hidden gem and a great place to hang out with family or friends. The food was unexpectedly delicious. The giant pretzel was fried a bit to make it buttery and crispy. Served with beer cheese and mustard. The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had! The decor was unique and there were plenty of cozy nooks. There is an outside play area for the kids if you bring them. Cheers!”

“Ok look. I ain't gonna lie. I only had the pulled pork sammich. But if the rest of the food is as good as that or as great as the service then it's gotta be great.Side note. Try to update the location and hours of the food truck for more business.”
“Their outdoor area is great for relaxing with a couple beers. A small but varied assortment, so there's something for everybody. They also had some small food dishes to snack on, but we didn't try any on this visit. A nice little neighborhood hangout.”

“This is one of those hidden jem places for great home cooking style food. Incredible view of the harbor from the outside tables. Just talk to the bartenders for transient slips. They make you feel like a regular by time you leave. This pirate will certainly stop again when visiting Cobb island!”
“Came in off a long road trip in the Outer Banks, NC. Stopped here on a Sunday, they were closed but were kind enough to still serve me! Most authentic ppl and bbq this side of the Potomac.”
“Love the location, variety of ice cream/toppings, and overall cuteness of the place, but what I really love is the customer service here! It's refreshing to see people go out of their way to please customers, seem geniunly happy to be working there, and making sure everyone is happy and cared for. You guys deserve to do well. You have our buisness!”
“I felt I had to review this little but awesome spot. It is worth the drive over. I called and the person on the other end was lovely and not rushed even though it was 40 mins to close on a Saturday night. I got the 6inch steak and cheese with everything and it was no joke. Filled all the way with steak and grilled onions. Husband got the 1/2 pound burger and said it was the best thing he has eaten at the beach. We topped it off with fries which were cooked just right. Thank you for coming through Paradise Bay.”
“Cute little unassuming ice cream shop on the main drag just before getting to the main beach area. Place your order at one window and pick up at the other. I got the banana split and my mom got a vanilla shake. Split could've used a bit more generous amount of syrup/pineapple, but was a great classic nonetheless. There is no indoor seating. Water misting stations are a nice touch.”
“Just had a turkey leg from there and the meat tore away easily and was perfectly seasoned and cooked well. Best turkey leg I’ve ever had, 10/10. From personal experience, the staffs there are always welcoming and friendly towards customers. I wouldn’t want to eat anywhere else!”

“The cook(s) know their way around the kitchen! The food is always so good. Last night we had take-out... a "custom" spaghetti dish with italian sausage, spinach, and mushrooms in Ledo's sauce, and the side salad was fresh and crisp. Fantastico!”
“The river has been collected at Ledos. It was good for a long time with all the service the food everything was great but wait time was good. The one thing is now the new people that owned it. The bartender, Joshua is a little bit corky deathly shouldn't be called. Bolin doesn't fit in trees people like crap at ScuttleButts.”

“Ate here for the first time. If you're traveling through, or staying for the summer season, DEFINITELY hit this place up.If you're lucky, you'll get Melissa as a server. She's incredibly sweet and accommodating. As of writing this, the seafood buffet is $45 per person, and the salad buffet is $19.You can also get everything a la carte, if you'd rather. They have plenty of fried options, but if you want oysters (they don't serve them raw), you'll have to settle for fried or in a soup.Everything we had was good and fresh, so you can't go wrong! They have great pricing for kids too. Expect to pay between $20-$50 per adult, more if you're drinking.I have a 4 star on the atmosphere because the place could use a face lift, but otherwise can't complain :-)”
