“Just had a turkey leg from there and the meat tore away easily and was perfectly seasoned and cooked well. Best turkey leg I’ve ever had, 10/10. From personal experience, the staffs there are always welcoming and friendly towards customers. I wouldn’t want to eat anywhere else!”

“It's the on base. Very crowded at lunch, frequently empty at lunch. Spacious because of the bowling alley, makes place fell open and clean.Besides that, very standardized Subway.”

“The food was so delicious and fresh. The crab cakes were the best I've had in a long time (actually moist instead of overcooked). The servers were attentive even though they got really busy. I'm definitely coming back to try the fish sandwich when it's available.”

“Make sure to come hungry. The fresh guacamole ? is delicious. We had the burrito California and the burrito texanos, both of which were huge. If we didn’t have to drive we would have tried the colorful flaming drinks which looks festive and somewhat dangerous ?. Definitely worth a stop!”

“SO tasty! You wouldn't expect Colonial Beach to be the site for phenomenal Thai food, but this is some of the best I've had. The restaurant itself isn't anything super fancy (but it's nicely decorated), but the service and food is top notch. The panang tofu is incredible! I don't know what they do to their tofu but it's perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!”

“First time visiting this establishment to meet some friends. Service was okay - not great. Refills were non-existent and it took three tries to get a soda water. And we had to ask a few times for things like our cheese sauce order.That said, the food was pretty good and everyone enjoyed their meals. The aforementioned cheese sauce was a bit too watery but the taste was right. The drinks are HUGE and quite tasty.When in the area, we would stop in again.”

“We were surprised to come upon live music, excellent beer, great food, and a friendly atmosphere here during an impromptu visit to Colonial Beach. Definitely a hidden gem and a great place to hang out with family or friends. The food was unexpectedly delicious. The giant pretzel was fried a bit to make it buttery and crispy. Served with beer cheese and mustard. The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve had! The decor was unique and there were plenty of cozy nooks. There is an outside play area for the kids if you bring them. Cheers!”

“I have been coming here for a few weeks now to try the soups they all have been so flavorful and delicious. Today I tried the chicken salad sandwich also that was in the deli case and I absolutely loved it!! All of your staff has been so wonderful and helpful each time I go in. Please keep making the different soups it’s truly something to look forward to at lunch time each day.”

“This is a great place to eat, especially if you are from out of town and want a breakfast that will make you feel good and stick to your bones. I had biscuits and gravy, and my husband the Dennis. Both plates came out with so much food, we couldn't finish it all! The sweet tea was southern approved, and the wait staff were friendly and the service was quick. This is place I HIGHLY reccomend.”

“I am visiting from out of town, and Julie's. Coffeehouse is wonderful. Beautiful, comfy, outdoor seating, and charming indoor seating, in a historic inn along the beach. I had the green apple kiwi fresh tea with honey and it was wonderful. They have beautiful Japanese pots they serve their Tea in. The customer service is fantastic and I will be back! Also, the locals are very friendly, as well as other visitors from out of town. Even though I was at the coffee shop on my own, I got to meet with and talk with a variety of different people.”

“What an amazing candy story! If you can dream it, they have a chocolate mold for it. Almost everything is made in-house. The fudge is perfect, my family finished it off within minutes.”

“Best dirty chai around! Happy Dance is one of my favorite coffee shops in Virginia! The barista in the morning is super friendly and sweet! The espresso flavor is just perfect and not too overpowering and the chai is the perfect amount of sweet/spiciness needed. Everything is clean and organized. If you're in town definitely stop by!”

“Went down for dinner with friends. The atmosphere was upbeat and everyone was friendly and happy. Service was right on time and the waitress was very friendly and patient while we decided what to order. Our drinks came quick and were surprisingly good! Not the usual watered down drinks you get else where. To make a long story short, we left happy with full stomachs. We talked about coming back down in the spring/summer with a group of friends to share the good times.”

“Their outdoor area is great for relaxing with a couple beers. A small but varied assortment, so there's something for everybody. They also had some small food dishes to snack on, but we didn't try any on this visit. A nice little neighborhood hangout.”

“This is a classic biker bar. If you are uncomfortable with that maybe you should avoid it. You are going to see a varied crowd from business owners in polos to one percenters in here. It's a good crowd and they have a pretty good menu if your hungry. They get in good bands on the weekends and the prices are very fair.”

“Cute little unassuming ice cream shop on the main drag just before getting to the main beach area. Place your order at one window and pick up at the other. I got the banana split and my mom got a vanilla shake. Split could've used a bit more generous amount of syrup/pineapple, but was a great classic nonetheless. There is no indoor seating. Water misting stations are a nice touch.”

“Love this place. Been to other Dickey's in other states. This place was on a main road I was traveling thru. People were friendly and the food was just as great as the others. They have their own sauces that we love. I ordered 3 of the loaded baked potatos and the 2 meat dinner with double okra. Figured the dinner was good to pick at on the way home and the potatoes for dinner the next couple nights.. the potatoes have a smoke flavor, and the pulled pork on top makes it awesome. Love the brisket on top too but pork is my family favorite.”
