“Ended up here after several other places had closed their outside seating due to heat and we had our dog. How lucky were we that we were forced to try Scuttlebutt. The food was excellent, the beer options adequate and the service was great. The outside seating area was well shaded and they had several very large fans that kept the air moving and despite the temperature we were comfortable outside. We’re glad we came and we’ll be back.”

“We visited twice this weekend. Beers were very good. Friday had comedy and Saturday had music. Would recommend visiting. They do have food, but we went for drinks only. The single POS at the bar does occasionally cause long lines to order.”

“Visited this morning and was blown away by how adorable, welcoming and delicious everything is! I showed up too early and was still welcomed in. I ordered a sugar free Chai and it’s delicious and the cup it’s served in is amazing! I also got the ham and cheese on baguette and it feels like I’m in France enjoying a traditional sandwich and finally I ordered the cinnamon roll and it has blown me away with its sweet, sticky cinnamon goodness! The place could not be any cuter or more inviting! I hope I get the chance to visit again before I leave and I HIGHLY recommend stopping in to shop, eat and drink!”

“This establishment is the best take-out in the Colonial Beach area. No kidding, the portions are wicked huge and the food is always delicious. When we order we often end up with another meal later, some of the sandwiches are that loaded! They often have Specials on their menu and their fried seafood is fantastic! I would recommend the Monster Breakfast Sub(also comes in a wrap). It has everything an American would have for a fat breakfast, only stuffed(stuffed) into a sub roll. Out. Of. Control.

“This is a beautiful ice cream shop we usually stop here on our way home. There is a boat for children to play in. There are nicely painted picnic tables. There’s an outside fan to keep customers cool. I enjoy the tiki and beach themed decor and the yellow and pink theme colors. We didn’t wait long for our milkshakes, a few minutes. There is a Connect 4 game the children enjoyed. You can order milkshakes in any of the ice cream flavors which is nice. We’ll be visiting again!”

“Swan Point is a great golf course, but currently the VAST majority of its greens are in REALLY BAD shape. It makes trying to actually play and score on the course almost impossible. It wouldn't be that bad, except no one mentions anything about this during registration, etc.”

“Truly one of our favorite date night spots. Malcolm always takes the best care of us and makes every visit feel special. The Kansas City steak was perfect, the squash blossoms were incredible, and the Peruvian scallops were next level... so incredible we're still thinking about them & always have to get them when we go! Can't recommend enough.”

“The pizza was amazing! We got the Ledo's Deluxe (I may have the name wrong) and it was really tasty. It's the off season and I imagine they were understaffed but it did take a while to get things rolling. Server was very friendly and got the order right so it ended up fine.”
