“First time experience was fabulous! Fresh good, tasty and at a great price (about 20 bucks for what's pictured). I'm full and haven't finished the meal (there's rice under that chicken). So glad this is in my neighborhood!“

“The Garnachas are not like those of Xela but it is the closest and best in the area. Food portions are large. I still come back after 14 years because the place is clean, hygienic and quick to serve. You have to arrive at a good time because it can fill up and the tables fill up. And people do not cooperate in leaving when they finish eating. They watch as those who are standing look at them to stop. It's the only frustrating thing. It's not the restaurant's fault. My Chapina people lack ethics. But no way.“

“First Time going to this spot...It may be new, but what a hidden gem. Located in the parking lot in front of Laurel, MD Home Depot, let me tell yall, this food is fire! I had the egusi and poundu yam. The egusi flavor pops out at you. Not too oily, not too spicy. My son had the jellof rice. The smokeness was on point. Better than Jellof I've had in Ghana. My hats off to the chef as mama put her whole foot in this food!!! God is my witness, ill be back!!!!! This is a Latin and West African offering cuisine. Do yourself and them the favor of supporting this establishment. I almost missed out in a blessing. P.S...it's also a lounge so they may get down on weekends. Not sure as yet.Mama...I'm coming back for my cassava fufu.Constructive critique....add a little more base to the soup.“

“This is my first time going there and I was very glad I found this place. Small cozy family restaurant at small shopping complex. Plenty of parking space and noice free area. Very friendly staff and very easy to order. If you love El Salvadorian food, this is the place a Must try. They are not kidding about "Sabor De Mi Tierra" meaning "Taste From My Land." The taste of the foods from this place is a mouth watering at each bites. From Pupusas to Carne Asada to Yuca con Chicharrón and much more. The best place to try Yuca con Chicharrón. I am a huge fan of Yuca Con Chicharrón. My taste bites are Happy.“

“I don't tend to write reviews, mostly because I don't frequent places often enough to get a solid feel for their consistency. But I've ordered from here at least 3 times during that last few months and each time has been consistently good. I've ordered tacos each time. (al pastor, carnitas, and chorizo) along with a few other dishes that were delicious! Though I'm no expert on Mexican cuisine, these tacos remind me of ones I had when I was in Mexico a few years back. They come with radish, limes, 2 different sauces and roasted green onions and cacti (oh, and corn tortillas because that's the only right way) It's more than enough to fill you up and make you do a happy food dance.“

“Great food, great atmosphere! The owner Eduardo is a very generous and welcoming host. I asked for his recommendation and he delivered a wonderful meal of beef stew, rice, and salad - i didn't even look at the menu! Turns out his wife prepares all the seasoning blends by hand for each dish, and the beans are naturally grown locally. Wonderful find, I'll be back next time I'm in town!“
