The food was good, and they had a lot of snack options. It was a little bland for me since I’m used to Indonesian food with richer flavors. I especially loved the pempek kapal selam. The service was okay

Artha Rini Indonesian Restaurant had been on my list for a long time, and I’m very glad I finally had the chance to visit. From start to finish, the experience was excellent — food, presentation, atmosphere, and service were all on point.
To start, I tried the Mendoan, a lightly fried tempeh that was soft inside and crispy outside, full of aroma and flavor, and the Tahu Gejrot, fried tofu served with a sweet, tangy, slightly spicy sauce that really stood out.
For the main dishes, I ordered the Rendang and Nasi Goreng Ayam. The Rendang was outstanding — deeply flavorful, perfectly spiced, and incredibly tender. It’s clear this dish was prepared with time, care, and attention to detail. The Nasi Goreng Ayam was comforting, well-seasoned, and very satisfying.
The space is warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. This is a place I definitely plan on returning to and would happily recommend to anyone looking for authentic Indonesian cuisine.
A great spot and a place I truly hope continues to thrive.

Yummy food, it's just too far for me to go. I ordered it; it's always good tummy food, when ordered, plus it's hot and warm, and we got Indonesian food to eat at work.

Food was outstanding! Different sambals, an extensive vegetarian menu, and so many different desserts!
Staff was so incredibly nice and accommodating as well. The vibes are great and you can pick up so many different kinds of snacks, treats and condiments.
Highly recommended!!

While I’m sure the food is good, my issue was related to service. It claims to open at 11, however I showed up at 11:15am on a Saturday and the doors were locked. They finally opened the door, I sat down and they told me the chef was not there, but assured me she was coming soon. I waited another 10 minutes and no one showed up, so I left. Clearly it doesn’t open until 11:30am, but they should not advertise earlier.

Very special authentic Indonesian restaurant. Dishes are special but also very delicious. I was one person so just ordered Tempeh, Jackfruit curry and rawon. I will definitely go back and try the other dishes.

Life-changingly authentic Indonesian food, including many dishes that are hard to find even in Indo. Lovingly prepared. This is where all the Indonesian diplomats go to eat.

This place is very small, but the food is good. I enjoyed the jackfruit curry with steamed rice. We also enjoyed the shrimp with chicken and rice dish. Everyone agreed that the food was really good.
Figuring out parking here is tricky. Has a real family feel to the place. The food tastes super homemade. Everything was flavorful and didn't feel like there was a lot of salt to the food which is a plus for me. There are a lot of interesting dishes so would like to come back and try more things.

So happy we have an Indonesian restaurant in the DMV! Totally worth checking out. We’re regulars here and love their ayam kremes, gado-gado (vegetable salad with peanut sauce), soto betawi, and rice platter with beef rendang. Everything is so good! And the Indonesian-inspired decor makes the place feel cozy and authentic. Free water and hot tea (self-service).
