“There is a reason I've been a regular for a little over a year. When I first encountered this location, I was absolutely satisfied. The food and food presentation was exceptional; THE MATCHA BOWL WITH PEANUT DRIZZLE IS FIRE!!! The lovely ladies that work in the front are so sweet and always welcome me, regardless of being a regular. The atmosphere is clean and clear, I spend most of my remote-academic work in the location. Its like doing homework at a coffee shop... but so much better!!!“

“OMG! My favorite place for juice, smoothies, avocado toast and acai bowls now has SOUP! Just had their potato squash soup, and it was better than my homemade soup (which is also delicious). Will be visiting often this winter for soup, cappuccino and "stay away cold and flu" juices. Sooo happy to have healthy options close-by!“

“Great staff and good smoothies. You can't really go wrong with a smoothie and at berries and bowls there are a decent amount of combinations to try. There are also acai bowls that are available with plenty of options. There isn't too much seating but it's in a great area to be able to grab a smoothie and take a walk.“

“I used to love Life Alive in Boston so I was very excited to try it out in DC. I appreciate the healthier food options and I’m still planning on coming back to try more dishes. The most disappointing was that we ordered the Udon and Ramen dishes, specifically asking for “extra hot” temperatures. When then arrived, the soil and sea ramen was so cold that it tasted like someone forgot to heat up the noodles or the broth midway. When I brought this up to the food runner, he said the chef told him to relay it’ll be extra 20 minutes just to get it hotter. He came back with the same bowl we handed over maybe 10 min later, and said that was the hottest they could make it. It was lukewarm at best, and had they communicated it wasn’t possible to make the dish hot, I wouldn’t have ordered it.

The mushroom shawarma warm bowl was the best of the three dishes. I added the tofu for added protein, and it paired well.

The coffee drinks were very yummy and actually served at appropriate temperatures. Unfortunate that we can’t adjust the sweetness levels, because that leaves no option for those who want to watch their sugar intake.“

“The PM team especially Shequita did such an incredible job. I work in hospitality helping manage and oversee a hotel and I know how hard of a job serving and catering to others needs can be. It can be a very thankless job. When I ordered there were certain ingredients that were not prepped… Shequitas first response was “i need to chop a few apples, allow me a moment” a lot of people in similar circumstances may reference that they are out or try and get someone to order something different but she was willing to go the extra mile to make it correct. Due to the time it took when I got to the register she immediately offered $2 off. She anticipated my needs and she truly shined! Durrell was working right along side her as well and was helpful and taking care of others so that Shequita could focus on my order. The PM shift is hard. Just a huge thank you to all that help take care of others. It’s the team that continue to be a huge reason why I come back to sweet greens and allowing team members to take the initiative and be empowered with tools to fix needs can make all the difference! Keep it up Sweetgreens!“

“Rush Bowls is a wonderful place to grab a fresh Acai Bowl with the freshest ingredients. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. The menu board makes it easy to make and order and know how ever thing goes. All in all I highly suggest checking out Rush bowls if you want some fresh fruit and a delicious Acai Bowl.

“The best customer service!! I decided to purchase additional Harvest bowls to take home last evening (3/1/17) but requested freshly cooked falafel. The batch that I had wasn't the best. They happily fixed me another order to go at no cost. I had no issue paying for my to go purchase, but they wanted to make sure that I was happy! We WILL be back!“

“As always the food at sweetgreen is fresh and delicious. The staff at this location are really kind and thoughtful. They even set something aside that I accidentally left there - made my day that they had saved it for me when I went back days later! There’s a good amount of seating inside too which is nice, I’ve always been able to find a seat when I go.“

“I walk to this location at 624 E Street, NW almost everyday for lunch. I always order via the Sweet Green app. Whenever I walk in to pickup my order, Katie and her team are always so friendly and instantly welcome me with big smiles, my order is always prepared and ready when I get there and it’s always made correctly. Katie and her team provide the best customer service and pay attention to the smallest details.

“Good service with a smile. Delicious, fresh and lots of choices“

“First time going here and the food was really good. My issue was that half the items on the menu are "online only" but the Internet service at this location is so bad that it was impossible, even using their wifi, to order an "online only" menu option. The businesses at this strip mall have known about the bad Internet for years, so its not their fault but whoever the management company is should step up and fix it. The staffer was able to make the salad using a laminated card, as if it was ordered online, so I'm not sure the point of that system but the restaurant was clean and the food was healthy with lots of vegetarian protein options.“

“The salmon salad was good. Not enough tables for lunchtime. Prices were (okay?). Staff was amiable. A bit crowded. Have to pay for parking. Experience not bad, not great. Call in order, fast free park, and exit within 5 minutes so you don't get ticketed.

Parking: I don't like the idea of paid parking. Also, finding the paid parking at the building next door was inconvenient. Call in your order and exit within 5 minutes of arrival of like me you don't like paying for parking for fast food.“
