I like to come here for coffee in the morning, but often I am tempted to go somewhere else because of the unfriendliness from some of the employees. One employee in particular that I had the displeasure of taking my order this morning, Catherine, is so rude and purposefully will not offer up one smile, unless you are also a spanish speaker it seems, since she was laughing it up and smiling with the men flirting with her. The manager and owner need to be aware they are turning away returning customers with this behavior. This isn’t the first time with Catherine acting this way, which is why I’m writing this review.

When I’ve eaten here the food is fine but nothing incredible and the atmosphere is nice. Some of the prices are outrageous though so I don’t want to come here much anymore. $14 for a small smoothie? and god forbid I use my credit card with another 3% fee added. Easily would’ve been $50 for me alone if I wanted to get food and a smoothie. For a cafe this is way too much.
Awesome food, good place to sit and work!
Nice place.

Java nation offers a u due array of food options ranging from traditional breakfast to Latin fusion and even smoothies, with a standard array of coffee types. The food was tasty - I’ve had the breakfast sandwich and pancakes before and today we got a a chicken shawarma-type pita special. Filling, tasty and unique! Also got a crepe and pancakes for kids, who enjoyed them. The main issue was the pricing of some menu options and how they get you to just pay for it if you don’t check them. I was asked if I wanted French fries or chips - I preferred the fries but then noticed when she rung me up they cost $4! Which was absurd and not made clear. I also picked up a Diet Coke can - a 7.5 oz one (the only Diet Coke option) only to find out that would have been $4.50! That is even more absurd- it wasn’t even a full 12 oz can. I opted for the $5 cold brew, which seems like the going rate (maybe in the slightly higher side). The food was good and I’d return but would be kk soul of what I’m ordering.
I really want this place to be good as a local shop but the price: value ratio is not there. The coffee beans are priced very high and frequently roasted 4-8 weeks ago. Add on top of that a 3% credit card surcharge (WTF??) and it's just silly expensive.
P.S. you can't even trust the prices listed in store, the Peru Yellow bourbon is listed for $24 and they changed me $28. This place is a last resort for me like when an online order of beans is delayed.
Crab dip was really good
In all honesty I really want to like this place. Service is solid, place is nice, it is just sooo expensive for what it is. I just payed nearly 5$ for a drip coffee that is just ok.

Fast service, good food. Went with a group of 10 and they were able to seat us together.
