I was stunned when this skimpy salad arrived. The salad alone was $11.50 and the chicken was an additional $5.00. Not a lot of food for that price. Its size makes it much more of a side salad, not a full meal. Highly not recommended.

Great spot for a quick bite to eat for brunch! It's a small space and bustling. The chicken pupusas were delicious - portion was big, I couldn't finish it by myself. My fiancé got the ham and cheese omelet, which he said was good. The home fries were well seasoned. They got my drink order wrong (made me an iced latte when I asked for an iced mocha), which was a bummer. Overall a nice spot that I recommend checking out.

I love the beef empanadas. The store location in Kensington is convenient for me. The butternut soup and huevos rancheros were alright too.

Small but busy coffee and light food place. I had scrambled egg with a slice of American cheese on an English muffin -- added packaged ketchup -- and a cappuccino. The cappuccino foam top was fine but the coffee was bitter and no milk or cream added when I had included that in my order. After sitting and discovering no added milk, I asked a barista for some milk, as there were no creamers available at the condiments stand, and, after an explanation that they don't include milk in their cappuccino -- an explanation I hadn't requested and had to explain back that I had specifically asked for some with my order, which she then gladly obliged, even foaming it a bit...a welcome touch. I added a few packets of brown sugar with the milk and cut the bitterness to make it tolerable. There were folks working on laptops, talking business, and just enjoying their morning "Joe." Individual tables, a "community table" and window seating inside; covered outdoor seating, though, it was a chilly morning so a bit packed inside from around 10 am on a Friday. A decent place for a beverage and food to either hang out or grab 'n go...just maybe don't order a cappuccino.

Love supporting local shops! Java nation has a delicious golden latte, and I LOVE their chicken avo arepas! Fantastic little spot for delicious baked treats and unexpectedly good Hispanic cuisine!Parking: This location has the most parking of their three locations in the area (Rockville and Kentlands have minimal parking).
