We went for lunch. I live much of the year in Los Angeles and K Town means Koreatown. We would have been there sooner if we knew it was French. The room is decorated with a French vibe. We started with the Beet Salad and found the parsnip chips a very clever textural element. We loved it. I got the Smoked Salmon and onion Omelette and wife got the Boeuf Bourgogne. The omelette was perfectly cooked and the beef was so tender in my wife’s dish. I was full half way through but it was so good that I just kept eating. Our server was so friendly and accommodating and made our experience very nice. The tableware is purchased from Antique Row and is beautiful. You will be glad that you came.

I came here on a slow Sunday evening for dinner. I had a nice seat at the window looking out onto the street. The service was exceptional. Staff were friendly and warm, and it felt like I was a special customer. The vegetable soup and ossobucco were also fantastic.Parking: I parked directly in front of the restaurant on the street. You can also park in the Safeway or at the nearby church.

This place has excellent food. I ate scallops with risotto and spinach yum !! My daughter got beef stroganoff and it was delicious. Service was impeccable!! Definitely a 5 star!

Wonderful location. Very quaint ambiance. Food was excellent, with one exception for our meal. The steak was a little bit too gristly. Everything else was expertly prepared. My only gripe would be that while our waiter was attentive enough, we were largely ignored. Saw the owner talking to other tables, presumably the regulars. It would have been nice to meet and chat for a little bit as we have been searching for a go to sit in restaurant latety. We will most likely try again soon.

My goal was to take a dear friend that is re-cooping out for a nice and different lunch away from her local neighborhood. I found K Town Bistro on my trusted Trip Advisor. What a DELIGHT and GEM! Joe our waiter was helpful and humorful. Our meal was terrific. We were blown away by the delicious menu and specials. We will be going back real soon for what looks like amazing dinner! You'll like this place.

Have been wanting to try this place for so long and ended up going last minute this evening. Felt like the quaint French neighborhood restaurant. Could tell that many people were regulars. The owner and staff were friendly and the food ... let's just say looking forward to being a regular. ? Go hungry because you have to have dessert too.

A true bistro with friendly yet formal service, an excellent wine list. The scallops over risotto was delicious. The crème brûlée is enough for two to share.

14 ladies went to lunch (we had made arrangements before hand and we did arrive at 11:00 when they opened so we missed the lunch "rush"). Everyone raved about their meals and the service was excellent. We live in Virginia and were in Kensington for a special tour ... so sorry it isn't more convenient so we could return. Highly recommend.

We had tickets for an event in the afternoon and K Town Bistro was near. We did not know the area, but it had good reviews, so we tried it. Great French restaurant with excellent service. Loved our traditional escargot appetizer (served bubbling). The appitizer was followed by the grilled trout special (sauteed spinach, corn and a charon sauce) and a Tuna Nicoise salad. Trout was served with crispy skin and sauce on the side to keep the skin crisp. We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and plan on returning.

I went on mother's day so this may not be the best representation but here it is: There was excellent service, but not the best vegetable dishes (a bit flavorless and al dente) The house made strawberry sorbet was very good. Vegan options are possible with a few edits but they did make both the salad and the main wrong (so I guess they don't get many edits to the dishes) but they were very apologetic and quick to remake it.

Every dish I have ever ordered here is to die for. This charming hole-in-the-wall restaurant sports a classy, Continental/American fusion menu. Treat yourself by taking the time to enjoy each course and glass of wine: buttery soups, crisp fried oysters, moist flakey fish, tender lamb with real sauce, and a creme brulee that will make you wish it wouldn't end. The waiters are easy-going and attentive.

Tonight we had another great dinner at the KTown Bistro. As always, the fried oysters were delicious. We also enjoyed the short ribs and a special, a seafood medley of salmon, tilapia, and vegetables in a shrimp sauce. For desert, we had the Trio, three of the restaurant's famous deserts. The service, as always, was impeccable, and the atmosphere was cozy. I strongly recommend KTown as a great place to eat for a special dinner!

This small town has a wonderful historic area And the restaurant match very well. The atmosphere is casual but elegant. My husband and I enjoyed the food, was really good. The server/staff is really friendly and attentive. I really like the old style and antiques, so this place has a little bit of that as well.
