Playa Bowl is an awesome spot! The vibe is great, the service is super fast, and the place is always clean. Whether you're in the mood for an acai bowl or a smoothie, you can't go wrong. Definitely recommend the Kensington location!

I love the originality of the bowls and their freshness. It’s a treat for my kids and us too. Even though I love the look of the restaurant, it’s always so cold inside with the AC on full blast. For the environment and the wellbeing of employees and patrons, could you please consider lowering the AC?

Employees who come in the store from outside should not just put on new gloves and start making food without washing their hands (guy with tattoos). Also stop talking and laughing over the food you’re making

Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Never coming back to this location again! Last time my husband came in to pick up playa bowls and the staff was very rude to him and even messed up our order. We let it go but today we experienced horrible customer service again! I placed my order on the app and when I arrived my order wasn’t ready so I followed up after waiting for 10 minutes in the store and the girl told me they are working on it. After another 20 minutes went by and the staff prioritizing everyone else that walked in after me, I said something again and turned out they made my order and had it sitting in the fridge. They handed me my order and as I was walking out I heard the staff talking negative about me and my frustration loud enough for other customers to hear. There were other people in the store and this is very unprofessional and rude! Of course I will be frustrated after seeing more than 5-6 people come in after me and get prioritized while I had to wait over 40 minutes for my order! Update: both of the bowls I ordered were wrong AGAIN! I even paid extra for toppings!!!! Stay away from this location!!!

We used to love this place, the last three times we’ve been there the bowls have been terrible. I don’t know what tonight’s excuse might be, the two times before the staff was obviously so stoned that assembling açaí bowls was a challenge. But tonight they were terrible, more like shaved ice with syrup and some fruit on top and the kids making it seemed at least alert.
