I purchased my mother a cake for mothers day here after we stumbled across this bakery and she adored it. Having the sponge with a more whipped cream style icing made the cake not too heavy at all and the raspberries were stunning and overall a delicious cake. I look forward to getting desserts from here for other occasions!!!

Best bakery in Kensington by far. A lovely worker Nora, helped me yesterday pick out some pastries for my family. They had all the cookies you could ever think of and real authentic pastry selection. The cakes were also gorgeous.

I was on a hunt for a German Chocolate Cake and I was delighted to find that Potomac Sweets had one! I inquired via their customer service email about some specifics I needed, mostly just lighter on the frosting, and a personalization and they said that was something they could do. After placing my order online and waiting for my pick up day I arrived at the bakery. The parking available is small, picking up early I think is probably best, but still easy to navigate. Otherwise...
