Amazing food. Birria tostada is sooo good. Variety of Mexican treats. Reasonable prices. Great service. Will be a frequent flier.

Fantastic birria tacos and elotes. Very authentic and similar to what I enjoyed in Mexico. Will be coming back soon.

Tacos are amazing. I especially love the squash blossom tacos. My husband loves the Al Pastor. We've been driving to their food truck in Glenmont for years. So glad they are now in Kensington.

We showed up because we heard alot of good things about this new addition to the old town of Kensington, at adds a little more flavor and spice to the historic area. Very nice staff, smiley, helpful and quick service with a smile! The area has a lot of nice little shops and small walk in places to check out the relaxed atmosphere will lure you in but don't Ben fooled they are BUSY!!!

First time visiting this place. We ventured out to shop and stumbled upon this place. It has been non-stop of people coming in and ordering at 11:30 am on a Sunday morning. We knew it would be good since business is flowing. The pork Pozole, the vegetarian and mushroom tacos are absolutely incredible. The ambiance is lively and inviting. We will be returning and even more excited to see they are available on Door Dash.

we’ve been waiting for a long time, and now it’s here. We went for CAREY out last night and everything was really good. I ordered three tacos and the winner was the lengua and my son ordered the quesadilla with Birria consommé. That was the clear winner. I wish them much success.

So happy to see a brick and mortar establishment in Kensington. Definitely has given local businesses a run for their money what with their affordable pricing, along with delicious food!Working nearby, this is an excellent addition to the area. Since they've just opened I am waiting for it to be a bit more accessible during lunch.Vegetarian options: Offering vegetables, mushrooms, and just tasty cuisine!

Perhaps I have a soft spot for TDP; their tacos, as always, are so amazing and I love that they now have an actual store, so we can get tacos even when the weather is crummy out! Today, I wanted to get wild and crazy and try some new ones: a chorizo con papas, a mixed veggie, and my beloved birria of course. The birria and mix veggie were served hot and shells were still nice and crispy. The mixed veggie one was not bad (for any vegetarians out there), but I love my meat tacos. I would've loved to taste more papas in my chorizo con papas one. My pepino y limon agua fresca (they still serve it in their plastic baggies) was good, def could've used more pepino, limon, and sugar. They've now got room for lots and lots of desserts like arroz con leche, flan, choco flan, I saw a mango cake, and really about 3 more desserts. Service, even on a Friday during prime lunch time, was quick, which I really appreciated. The space inside was festive and clean. They've got about 6 high-top against the storefront window and seating for 20 more. *Street parking and perhaps free parking in the back, though I did not check. Def worth a visit if I do say so myself

Long-awaited food truck comes to its new brick-and-mortar home in Antique Row. The tacos are just as good as they are at their Georgia Ave food truck and there's so much to enjoy from lengua to fresh al pastor tacos off the trompo. I especially enjoy their carne asada and birria tacos, but why not try them all? So happy this place is in my town and is finally open at last!

On a Sunday afternoon in March, my fiancé and I grabbed a late lunch at Tacos Don Perez in Kensington. Similarly to their food truck operation, you order at the counter and wait for food. The seating is first come, first serve. We sipped on a Mangonada, which was sweet, spicy, and salt. It was nice to finally try one, but we're not sure if we'd order it again. My fiancé had three tacos - 2 Carne Asada and 1 Al Pastor. He said they were okay, nothing special. He didn't like how the tacos were prepped. For example, their Carne Asada was broiled, instead of grilled. Even though the tacos weren't loaded with meat, I enjoyed the three Birria Tacos with a savory and flavorful consume. We also purchased a Tres Leches to be enjoyed later.

Smells delicious. Todays the grand opening, I'm excited to try them out. Apparently, they had a mariachi earlier, sadly I missed it. The music played over the speakers is warm, happy with the sounds of Latin Music. The walls are painted with inviting colors, they have

Excellent tacos. Fast and pleasant service. They need to get plain old sodas. The current drink offerings are too complicated. It's like with Frankly....I just was a diet coke not a 4 dollar special soda.
