We actually tripped upon this place bc a different restaurant was slammed with loud and chaotic crowds so I looked for other restaurants in the area and came upon this one. It's tucked in a corner next to a neighborhood and has a much quieter vibe which is what I was aiming for. I had the hamburger which was very good, the fries are fantastic and my husband had the fish and chips which he also gave a thumbs up to. More money than the original place we were going to go to...
We rarely get a chance to have lunch together so when my wife and I do we choose carefully. The Dish and Dram is one of those hidden jewels in Kensington that serves five star rated food with great atmosphere too. The charcuterie board was great as was the beef brisket sandwich. They smoke it for several days and it tasted like it. Just about the best I've ever had.
Cute place with great food. Menu changes frequently with in season items. Great specialty cocktails.
