While the service was fast, I had to ask for items that usually come with the chili(crackers, sour cream, a spoon). Then when I opened my chili it was over an inch below the top, I don’t expect it to be overflowing but this might as well have been the smaller size.

Bad service at the drive-thru. The girl with colored hair doesn't pay attention to her job and gave me the wrong order.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, OR GAS. THIS IS THE WORST WENDY'S IN AMERICA. I CAN NEVER GET A COMPLETE ORDER. THEY'RE ALWAYS OUT OF SOMETHING, AND AFTER READING THIS POST MAYBE THEY WILL BE OUT OF CUSTOMERS. I
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE WENDY'S NEAR BOB EVENS IN BOWIE. Update March 29th 2025. Yes Today is March 29th 2025. Hey Y'all can we boycott this Wendys in Watkins Park for 3 weekends in April ? Starting on 5th & 6th -12 th & 13th -26th & 27th. Management still takes us for granted. I think the last time that I did a review was maybe 2 years ago. And nothing has changed absolutely nothing. Tonight I ordered a cheeseburger french fries and a soft drink. At the time that I ordered there were two vehicles in front of me. When I got up to the window I counted five associates including the on duty manager. As she stood over top one of the workers I watched him make at 5-6 sandwiches 🥪 each time I thought he was preparing my sandwich, but then I realized they weren't for me when I saw them set off to the side of the drive thru window. Five - Six times Wendy's? Really? And don't say it was for visiting customers because it was only one guy on the inside. So I don't want to hear that lie. Obviously they were making orders for online customers. So like I said before don't waste your gas and don't waste your money. If I knew the Watkins Park Wendy's would take 25 minutes to fill my order I would have drove to the Bowie Wendy's. FACTS!!! MAYBE the only way corporate is going to do something is when they start losing money!!! $$$$$$

Just bad. My breakfast burrito😓the bacon was grossly undercooked. The bad attitude of the cashier was worse.

Any Wendys typically has horribly slow service, but this Wendys was horribly slow and a trip down a rabbit hole. My niece and I went through the drive thru on New Year's Eve on the way to a church service. I went against my better judgement to go to the McDonald's in the other direction but Wendy's was literally on the way to church. It was raining cats and dogs. We noticed the line was moving very slow even though there was only 2 cars ahead of us. I finally got to order, but then waited another 10 minutes in line just to get to the 1 window they have. Finally I pay, but didn't get a receipt, then proceeded to watch the utter chaos going on in the kitchen before we sat and waited again for our food. At this point, there aren't any cars ahead of us, but an employee brings a bad to the window which we think is ours except we didn't order any burgers, only fries and nuggets. She tells him that and they disappear into the kitchen. Minutes later, I see someone pouring nuggets into the basket to fry. I called the cashier because at this point I paid so I wanted to make sure they weren't JUST now putting our nuggets into the fryer. She said no, and that they were getting us fresh French fries. Lies. The fries weren't hot when we got them and then the nuggets weren't cooked! Another lie. They had just put them in the fryer like I asked as the older woman who seemed like a supervisor or something hurried the order out to us. We couldn't believe that we both bit into mushy, nearly raw nuggets. We threw them away of course and munched on lukewarm fries. Serious management and staff changes need to made at this Wendy's.

20 minutes in the drive thru, and you're the only car. After 5 minutes of complete silence, the worker says I'll be with you in a second. 10 minutes later, she takes my order.
Get home, and the order is wrong. Such a simple task.
I'm not sure who manages the night shift, but they ALL need some training. It is so confusing and unorganized every time you go. Drive thru order will definitely be messed up.

Worst experience ever. After waiting in the drive through for 10 min behind other cars, I was ultimately told they couldn't take my order for 10-15 min due to a shift change. So I waited. After 10 min someone asked through the mic if I heard what she said. I replied yes, I'm waiting. I was then told I couldn't wait because I was holding up their monitor....WTH. No, you're holding me up. I asked what do you want me to do. She said you have to come in. I replied, that was not happening as I was not prepared to come in. After another 5-10 min someone asked what my order was. I asked for a Cobb salad. Response, how are you paying. I said with cash. His response is that we can't take cash we don't have a register open. Of course I'm totally confused and replied, are you kidding me. So, I offered a credit card along with my dissatisfaction, in a very civil tone, with how frustrated I was with this entire experience. While trying to understand and seeking an explanation as to what the he]] was going on, this rude, unprofessional, loud talking, disrespectful, out of character youngin (who I later found out was the manager named Melvin) after not wanting to explain or hear what I had to say, he had the nerve to say "ain't gonna be no arguing", pull around. When, the only push back and attitude was coming from him. It gets worse. I produced a $50 bill and they did not have change to give me. I then gave them my bank card. It should have been a courtesy meal for all the drama. Nonetheless, after processing the transaction I asked for a receipt and was told the machine was broken. OMG, I was just ready to go home. I've lost my appetite. If you don't have anything else to do with your time go to this Wendy's and take a book to read in the drive through.
