It takes a lot for me to post a review, I Ordered the following. spring rolls, 5 pcs sushi roll, 8 pcs sushi roll, ragoon, and teriyaki with veggies
Spring rolls were ok, tasted like the ones from Costco
5pcs roll didn't have much protein and the actual roll was small like they cut a full roll in half and then cut it again.
8pcs roll again, small hardly any protein
Rangoon was decent but didn't come with dipping sauce
Teriyaki was mostly rice with a small amount of sauce, watered-down cabbage and 4 pieces of broccoli.
I understand suggestive and upselling but check your order before paying, the cashier input the incorrect quantity twice during my order taking which I noticed and asked her to correct. She did try to sell me a larger sushi platter after noticing the errors, which I had to decline more than once.

They must of changed cooks or something. Havent been there since the summer of last year. Got the samethinf I always ordered. Paid 25 percent more...the rice was overxooked, the tofu overcooked the vegetables werent even vegetables. Just watered down cabbage. The food wasnt seasoned at all. Wont going back.

I wont be getting food from here any more. I got home and ate about 1/4 of my food before spotting a hair, after looking closely i realized they were all throughout my food, maybe 20 to 30 short black hairs. I'm bald so no way it could have come from me. It looks like someone trimmed their hair over the stack of boxes or something. Will not be back.

Best bargain for your dollar. Haven't had a bad meal here yet. The food is absolutely delicious every time, affordable and the staff is always polite. I will continue to eat here for many years to come.

I used to go there once a week, yet I haven’t been in a while. Today I tried the Hunan Chicken and the chicken was hard and the rice wasn’t done at all. They must have changed cooks or something. Guess I’ll go back to Hunan Star and not waste any more money fooling with them.

My family went here thinking this would be comparable to Habachi Express in Brandywine. The restaurant was clean. The atmosphere was not bad. However, the food was not good at all. The food didn't lack salt, but it lacked flavor and as my husband put it, it lacked skill. It wasn't really flavorful and you could just tell it was greasy. Like you felt bad eating it. There was one thing that I really enjoyed and that was the seaweed salad.

Service was mediocre. Atmosphere was outdated. Food was absolutely disgusting. I tried the spicy salmon sushi that was the worst sushi I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. I had three bites I spent almost $20 ate three bites and threw it out. The smell was horrible never coming back again.
