The owner(server) was kinda rude, I spoke about it to him, he apologized, although he wasn't very receptive of my pointing out his attitude and initially didn't want to admit it. I was adamant about noting it to him and mentioned it was my 1st time in the establishment.

The food was good. Beware - The last several times I've been, we are always told something that we want to order is not available. Today it was ribs. Previously it has been potato salad and macaroni and cheese.

This place is fire! The food is good the owner has the best personality and makes the atmosphere fun. Did I mention the DJ on Friday nights! Come enjoy yourself to a DJ a nice Bar happy hour drink prices and dancing. This is a great little getaway if you don't feel like traveling to these expensive places to dance drink and laugh and get food. Tell Nikki Darlene sent you!!!

I've been coming here for going on 3 years and I promise you I will never be back. The service continues to go further and further down hill. The young lady that works the front counter makes it her mission to let you know how much you ordering is a burden to get. Today I went in I have over 700 points which they have always marketed you can use 100 points for 5 dollars off. Today I go in to use my points and of course now it takes 3 people to push the is through they only allow me to use one of the coupons then say they are rolling back the rewards program. So I ask can I use them on desserts and I'm told yes then I go to order desserts one by one (which total over 5 dollars per purchase so either way they are still making more money) and I'm told oh wait it only applies to specific dessert the ones that happen to be out of stock. I ask can i use it on normal food items she says yes, then i ask to order another item and use my points Now it's you have to spend 25 dollars to use your dollars off. I ask to cancel my order she ask the guy in front of her in the kitchen if it's been started he said they haven't worked and and she turns around as if I'm not 1 for from them to tell me they already started cooking it so it can't be canceled. Mind you my food was given to me with an attitude, and lukewarm. Note the owners snarky remarks on my Google review show where they stand. But since I can't reply to them there no I was not upset I couldn't use all my points at once nor would using all my points have made my order free. I'm glad to see how they treat the community that has supported them. I was upset that the cashier made it feel like it was a bother to take my order in the first place and then the rules behind using my points changed 4 times in 10 minutes even after confirming with her before trying to make the next transaction. A simple message of "Hello ma'am we are changing our reward system after super bowl weekend and currently points can only be applied once on a purchase of 25 dollars or more" would have given me as a patron and understanding as to this policy change without it coming across as personal because there wasn't a single message and the constraints kept changing on the spot. Love a business who can't take criticism and I stand by my word I pray they get everything they deserve . Note as the owner said they were waiting for my review so it must have been apparent they had a disgruntled customer that they made ZERO attempts to address. But I guess that's the standard of service I would expect from them.

We attempted to give a small business an opportunity for lunch and were quickly reminded why we typically stay far away from them. The chicken wings were overcooked and ox tails way too salty for our liking. Also, be prepared to pay an addtional $10 for your overall tab with service/ CC fees passed on to the customer. The receipt printed only shows your subtotal and does not list the individual food items which was very odd. We will stick with corporate restaurants in the future where there are no suprise fees or lack of refunds for a dish you dislike. No knocking small businesses -- just seems more difficult to resolve an issue when dining at one.

I ordered the ribs and 1/4 chicken with baked beans and Mac and cheese with jerk shrimp egg rolls. I wanted my ribs and chicken to be jerk. I heard one of the cooks saying my order out loud and he stated that "people do to much, why not just order the smoked", like I'm not paying extra for the jerk. my food took about 45 minutes to prepare. Chicken was OK at best. Ribs were tough but had a good taste to them. Baked
beans were sweet and no spice and didn't have any meat in them. The Mac and cheese was really good. The jerk shrimp egg rolls were good as well. I recommend this place be careful who you have cooking for you because this cook running his mouth just cost some business.

We waited in my opinion to long to receive our food. The oxtails taste ok but were to tough to eat with plastic forks. my table was shaking and the waitress almost dropped one of the bowls saying it was hot. In my opinion the price of the food was to high for the level of service we received and the quality of the food. The over all vibe of the place was really Nice

Food is always consistently excellent. It’s pretty much made to order. order ahead if possible. I’m a big foody and this place is spot on. I’ve had the green, yams, chicken Rasta pasta(my favorite) jerk shrimp egg rolls. I usually never order greens and yams from restaurants but these are very tasty

Poor customer service from owner.
Told the wait is 25 mins, after 45 mins of waiting patiently, don’t have my potatoes salad. Asked for a refund and I was told we don’t do refunds. Asked to speak to owner and she was by far the worst restaurant customer service I have ever encountered. Disgusting Attitude!

Nathan was nice and inviting. Unfortunately I don’t recommend and would not be back.
